Hi,
Is AlphaServer 4000 supported with Winnt Server 4.0 and Digital
Clusters for Windows-NT v1.1 ?
I haven't seen it in the supported Alpha-Server list for
Clusters-NT v1.1.
I don't know if I have a obsolete information sheet for Clusters-NT
v1.1...

I know that AlphaServer 4000 is supported with Clusters-NT v1.0 as
Fiona said in previous notes (29-septiembre-1996)...
But the information I have about Digital Clusters for Windows-NT v1.1,
not include the AlphaServer-4000 as supported Server. Due to Clusters
for Windows-NT v1.1 is over NT Server 4.0, not over NT 3.51, that is
why I did the .0 query...
Anybody give me some feedback, please ?

I would guess that since the 4x00 systems have only recently received NT 4.0 support, that is the reason that V1.1 of clusters was not listed as supported. Now that we are shipping 4.0 on 4x00 systems I would guess that it is a matter of updating the documentation to reflect that V1.1 is supported on the 4x00 systems. tgc | |||||
