I am writing a program to run on NT servers. The program should do different things depending on whether the server is configured in a cluster or not. Currently using V1.0 SP2 (and V1.1). My question: How can I determine when the program is started whether NT clusters is installed and active on the server? My ideas: o look at some registry entry to determine whether it is installed? o if it is installed, should the program then look for a particular service? Any suggestions ? Thanks, ed

I would check to see if the cluster failover manager service is running. Just because you find entries in the registry does not mean that the services are running. tgc |
