Hi,
Can you quickly supply me with the URL or file share from which you
obtained the kit?
I just finished uploading the kit to the PCBU BBS, PCBU engineering
support web site (http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/) and the
http://www.windows.digital.com/~ftp/00-index.htp site last night. I'll
try to correct the problem asap.

Thanks for the pointer. I had found the corrupted file and am in the
middle of uploading it again. I'm having difficulty getting rid of the
old copy though, because lots of people are unfortunately downloading
it and the web server is locking the file from deletion.
I'll post a note here when I'm done.

Ok, the external copy is fine now. Did an extra download and
binary check.
Sorry for any inconvenience, and I know it can be a lot because
of the large file size. Now, on to the 50MB of PDF's I just uploaded
last night. :-(

It looks like the new kit is faulty as well (correct me if I'm wrong)
the download location is the same:

the error message:

Did someone else gets the same error?

| Hi,
I have the same problem to download the reposted SP#2:
QGNTCL2J.EXE (10,907,939 bytes reposted 11 March 1997)
in the URL http://www.windows.digital.com/~ftp/NTCluster.htm
FTP only can copy me 8,064,310 bytes of the SP#2.
I'll try the ftp operation 2 times with the same results:
QGNTCL2J.EXE (8,064,310 bytes instead 10,907,939 bytes).
It seems to be no problem solved with the ZIP file.
Help would be best appreciated.

personally downloaded the file and unpacked it successfully.

| It still checks out for me. Incomplete downloads is a separate issue
with which I cannot help.
Here's what I did.
I ftp downloaded as an anonymous user from www.windows.digital.com
the software/os/winnt/qgntcl2j.exe file. I renamed it to qgntcl2j.ext
as you'll see below. Then I copied over the same file that we have
internally. Next I did a binary comparison of the two files. This
checks out okay. Finally, to ensure both files are not bad, I ran one
and let it self-extract fully. This too checks out okay.
I think this is out of my hands...

It works now, only this time I expanded the file on NT machine and not from
Windows95 as I tried before.

| Please note that the doc file I posted was bad also. The file,
HGNTCL2J.EXE, has just been replaced as well.
