I apologize if this has been answered previously.
In view of the fact that Wolfpack will be releasing later this
week, my customers are asking very probing questions about what
this means to them.
1. Will we be transitioning NT Cluster customers to Wolfpack?
2. If so, what is the time frame?
3. If we will be doing this, how do we sell the appropriate
hardware now?
I.E., Wolfpack requires Alpha 4100 with HSZ50 (Raid 450) (from
what I have been told.
NT Cluster supports Alpha 2100a's and 4100's with RAID 410s.
Do we have a program for those customers who buy 2100a's with
RAID 410s to transition to the WOLFPACK requirements?

Later this WEEK? I don't think so!
MS may be releasing Beta 2 soon, but final release is not scheduled
until at least may 1997.

Yes.

Well...You could sell them a pair of 4100s with an HSZ50.

Thanks for the update. I mistyped when I said 'week'. I meant
'year'.
We really need to have a written transition plan so we can help our
customers plan their purchases.
What is the ETA for a written plan?
