| I have not seen an resolution for this issue. I can state that Running
Ver. 1.1 on alpha 5/400 and 10/100 cards on a 100 meg network still
suffer from slow performance.
We suspect that this is causing a problem with our Solution at the VA.

Is there a requirement for the cluster "client software" or CFS.SYS
to run on the servers for your customer ? If not, then why not
disable it ? (control panel/devices/cluster file system).
CFS is not really necessary for the proper operation of the
cluster. The only ramification that I'm aware of is that you
won't be able to browse the 'cluster shares' on the servers
using explorer/network neighborhood. Meanwhile, you eliminate the
performance issues mentioned in the base note.
The other solution for performance issues is to eliminate cfs on
the cluster and clients once V1.1 SP1 is released. IP failover
for network shares makes CFS superfluous and eliminates
performance issues and various applications issues (with cfs)
as well.
