What's the status on this? I've tested the disk counters with v1.1 Build 1165
and it still doesn't work.

Yes, the problem with diskperf was recently fixed. Diskperf will work
fine in the final Clusters V1.1 kit.

I've just tried installing builds 1210 and 1213. I still can't see any disk
counters. After installing the kit, I did a DISKPERF -Y, then rebooted. Is
there something I'm missing? Should I try another kit?

259.13 | feature pulled | DECWET::LEES | Will, NTSG DECwest, Seattle | Fri Feb 21 1997 15:58 | 11 |
| I am sorry to tell you that we had to pull this fix at the last minute. In order
to fix this problem we had to move some functions out of the shim driver into
the dll; it was a risky reorganization at so late a date in the cycle of v1.1.
Well we found that the change as currently implemented interfered with network
shares coming online and so the change was commented out. Look for this fix in
the next release after 1.1, probably a service pack.
Now this retraction was checked in yesterday, so kits prior to 2/21 should have
this ability. What you do is go into the devices applet and set diskperf to
start type boot. Then after you reboot, run diskmon and select one of the
cluster disks.
