Could you please elaborate on this. I have a customer that wants to purchase
Clusters 1.1. Before they proceed, they want to make their "homegrown"
application "Cluster Aware". They don't want to use Generic Scripts. They want
to make it as seamless as possible in the event of a failover.
Should I tell them to get the Wolfpack API from Microsoft. Will this let them
accomplish the tack of seamless integration with Clusters 1.1.
Thanks in advance,
...chuck

156.5 | No Wolfpack API on our cluster | STKAI1::ELFGREN | | Mon Jun 02 1997 08:57 | 11 |
| We are not implementing the Wolfpack API's on our cluster,
eventhougt they are quite similar.
To get the Wolfpack API on your cluster you must install Wolpack.
Digital Clusters only have the scripts.

| The Wolfpack API will integrate applications into the
Wolfpack clustering environment, not into the Digital
Clusters 1.1 environment.
There is no API for Digital Clusters (other than script "API")
and there is no plan to provide one.
