| Shawn,
I watched the two episodes so far, and I think it's a keeper! Then
again, how can you go wrong with Lea Thompson in it?
|

| I've seen it. It's OK, no real knee slappers but a chuckle now and then.
Along with Single Guy it passes the time between the big NBC Thursday night
comedies and E.R.

You can't, really. 8^)
Good line:
"You'd probably look at the statue of Venus and say, 'With breasts
like that, who needs arms?'".

I believe this is her 1st TV series (and I've heard a made-for-TV
movie she's done has recentently aired [or will soon air).
She's a movie actress. As mentioned she was in "Howard the Duck",
and was also in "Only the Lonely". She may of even been in
"War Games". Does Jon Reeves note here? If so maybe he can post
the list of her film credits (hint :-)

Lea Thompson is best remembered as Michael J. Fox's girlfriend in the
Back to the Future series.

I thought Elizabeth Shue played his girlfriend.
And that was Ally Sheedy in "War Games".
Lea was in "Casual Sex" with Victoria Jackson and Andrew Dice
Clay, and she was the slimeball French teacher in "The Beverly
Hillbillies" move.
I'll go get a full filmography. Wait here.
Hey!! Where are you going?? 8^)

part of the movie. Lea played his mom but when he went
back into the past he met his mom as a teenage girl who
ends up having a big crush on him.

(I was wondering why Lea Thompson's breasts looked
larger than I had remembered :-).

396.16 | good show | GRANPA::JBOBB | Janet Bobb dtn:339-5755 | Mon Oct 09 1995 13:22 | 14 |
| I first started watching this show because of Lea Thompson but have
continued to watch it because I think it's one of the funnier shows
that has showed up this fall.
All the shows have had something I liked about them. The last episode
with the art show is probably one of the weaker episodes. The episode
with her assistant being mugged was pretty good.
The guy who plays Dell, the on-again/off-again boyfriend has done guest
appearances in several other shows (like Frasier) and it was an
interview with him done by Entertainment tonight that got me first
interested in checking out the show.

The art gallery episode was the first show I saw. I thought it had
a lot of laughs, and was pretty well done.
Last night's show however was pretty weak in comparison I thought
(she's sick and the two guys create a cartoon for her).
So far the show is 1 for 2 imo from these two viewings.

week's show (2/26/97)?
The last thing I can say is that Dell's friends left Caroline's apartment,
only to have the weirdo/stupid friend (sorry I forget his name) show up
with his friends. Then, just as the show ended, I caught a glimpse of
Richard's female friend getting carried down the stairs by one of the guys
(maybe the weidro/stupid guy himself). What was going on here?
thanks,

| I missed some of the last few minutes too. I saw when Charlie arrived
with his band and Richard's friend wanted to join in the music. The
next scene I remember was Caroline arriving home. Caroline came home and
went upstairs to her room. Next thing you see is Charlie carrying the
partially clothed woman down the stairs and calling Caroline rude for
not knocking first. So, it seems Richard's friend dumped him for
Charlie.
Was there anything important going on between those two things or is
