What a trip down National Geographic's memory lane! I enjoyed it very much, and my only real gripe is that it wasn't 4 hours, or 6, or 8.... Warmest Regards, Janet :-) P.S. Has it been 30 years ALREADY?!?!?

I agree!!! The show was wonderful. I love watching the specials when they are on and really enjoyed last nights show. It was funny sitting there remembering some of the shows that I had watched as a kid. I hope they keep up the good work. I watch the Discovery Channel nature/animal shows with my daughter (3 1/2) all the time. Patty

Did anyone in the general vicinity of Nashua NH tape this? Would like to borrow your tape ...

I totally agree - EXCELLENT stuff. I wonder how many hours must have been spent in the editing room? I'm going to be on the lookout for a videotape of the show - it would be a very worthwhile investment. One thing I noticed is that they didn't show anything to do with space travel and it seems to me that I have watched one or two specials on the planets etc... Oh well, I guess it would have been a gargantuan task to include everything! Chris |
