What's the deal with this show? Did they always have a dif- ferent set of characters, or did I happen to catch 2 episodes within some "transitional" period? The 2nd one I saw was about 2 weeks ago and had Bert Convy and Angie Dickinson trying to set up a bunch of guys who were casino runners, and the 1st one I saw, a day or 2 before, didn't have either one of them as far as I remember. They (almost) always have different characters. There were a few episodes where characters repeated from previous shows (I am remembering a couple with Don Meredith, who was surprisingly good), but in most cases the actors only had 1 shot. I believe that the episode you saw with Angie Dickinson later spun off to become "Police Woman". -- Ken Moreau | |||||

About a month or so back, 1 episode featured: Claude Akins Steve Laurence Dennis Dugan and last night's episode included Ray Sharkey, probably in 1 of his earliest roles, as an "extra" [bar customer]. |
