Has anyone seen this yet? Starring Dabney Coleman, Cynthia Gibb. The premise of the show is an office environment [and I believe all are part of a staff of writers/editors of a magazine] where Dabney works for his daughter. I like it ... I've seen 'em both, and it's a riot. I've always liked Dabney anyways, and Cynthia is real cute and not a bad actress. GTI

So far it's a one joke program, tough old dad isn't really so tough and struggles but will learn to deal with new age touchy feely Yuppies. The daughter is not believable as a manager. She comes across more as the little girl that was told to sit behind the big desk and teach dad how to be sensitive. The only show that NBC ever come up with that worked in that slot was Grand. I like the show. I'm becoming more like Dabney's character each day. It must be the work envirionment at Digital or something. |
