| Yup, I have seen it, and agree it was funnier in the beginning
episodes.

| Since it's based on a successful standup act (originally with 3
"Mommies") they probably ran out of 'standup' material....think back to
the first 6-8 Cosby, Roseanne and Home Improvement episodes - they were
mstly elongated standup routines acted out. Maybe like the past three
the "Mommies" will grow and character developement will take them from
1 dimensional oneliners to actual characters - goodness knows there
should be enough material between 2 close families and teh variety of
children etc... I wish them luck.

My wife and I have been watching this show for a while now. It had
gotten stale for a while there but it has gotten MUCH funnier. They've
added a couple of new characters and they've added alot to the show.
The funniest is this woman who lives in the neighborhood. She's miss
perfect, always prepared, she wears this fanny pack that just seems to
produce any needed item at will. They play very well off of each other
with her being the "traditional perfect TV mother figure" and the
others being the opposite "current stereotypical who cares type mother
figure". Saturday night they did two shows back to back. The second was
really funny the two "regular" mommies were on a diet administered by
"Ms perfect" and they actually gained weight, this upset Ms perfect so
much they showed her in therapy. One of the great one liners of the
show was: One way to cut your calorie intake by half is...Don't dip
your chocolate chip cookie in the icing!!!
Anyway, some of you might find this show worth another look...

| I have to agree, this show has gotten better. They have added Julia
Duffy and Jere Burns (he was on Dear John) as a house husband. All of
the "Mommies", have coffee together every morning. The two shows on
Sat. night were pretty good.
