    Sydney and Jake are engaged in real-life.. I read in a magazine that he
    proposed to her on the set of Melrose Place infront of all the cast
    members. 
    
    I still don't remember those two dating on the show, I know that she
    stayed with him for a while, and he was helping her, then they slept
    together, and then he told her that he wanted a relationship with her,
    but she turned him down... saying she wasn't ready for one.. then that
    incident happened where she slept with Jane's boyfriend because he
    black-mailed her... and then the Las Vegas thing... I mean seeing
    scenes for next week, Sydney makes a comment to Jane about Jane
    stealing her boyfriend from her.. and I guess I just never saw Jake and
    Sydney as an 'item' on the show.

    
    
    I think they were an item in Sydney's mind.  But I believe they only
    slept with each other and had one date.  But as easy as Sydney falls
    I'm sure she just figured they were an item.
    
     

    Jake and Syd did have a little something going. Do you remember when
    the mob went to Jake and told him that he will start paying $1,000.00
    a month to have them be extra security for Shooters and Jake said Get
    lost than a few guys were outside by the dumpster and beat the crap out
    of Jake and Sydney came running out to help him. They also paid 
    Syd a visit and told her that if she doesn't sleep with the boss that
    Jake will get beat up worse maybe even killed. Syd agreed to it and
    when she met the so called boss at the hotel, it was Jane's boyfriend 
    (forgot his name.) After the Vegas trip, Jake asked her if she slept with 
    him and she said "Only once but I did it for you." Jake wanted nothing to 
    do with her, as she really did "do it" for Jake, she was heartbroken when he
    dumped her. Another one bites the dust! haha It wasn't a long romance
    but it lasted a few episodes.
    
    It was Jo that he told he watned a relationship with when they were
    going to get the baby from Reed's parents and she said she wasn't
    ready for one at this time.

    I can't believe that Allison submitted her name for the 
    Award that Amanda wanted.  I think that was a really 
    lousy thing to do,since she's so sick.  I felt so bad
    for Amanda.  I wonder what Micheal is up too,do you
    think that he really cares for Amanda or is just out
    to get something.  I don't know what she has that he
    wants  besides sex.  That Kimberly is such a loon.
    I think that new girl associated with that awards
    show is going to be big trouble.  Do you think that
    she might have something to do with that doctor
    that Amanda was seeing?  Maybe his sister and shes
    out to ruin D+D.

    I wasn't surprised with Allison.. she plays so sweet and innocent :-)
    Gees, I sound like Amanda :-).  But now I know why Amanda talks to her
    like she does :-).  I KNEW that would happen with the award, and I bet
    that Billy looks into it and finds out that the winner was 'fixed'.  He
    looked sorta weird when that girl sat down next to him and wispered, "I
    just knew she was going to win". or something to that effect.
    
    Michael, I don't know, maybe he DOES love Amanda and is living in FEAR
    with Kimberly.. I mean the woman already tried to kill him once all
    ready, and she looked pretty unstable when he went home to 'comfort'
    her.  I really feel bad for Amanda these days, I really do, her father
    is dead, and she hates her mother, she has no friends... and then to
    have cancer.  It would have been nice if Allison would have given her
    award to Amanda.
    
    

    Melrose is not on tonight - booohoooo... Instead of Melrose, there is a
    special at 8:00 and it is about the actors/actressess previous careers
    before Melrose and 90210 so that should be pretty cool.
    
    What the hell is up with Michael? I guess he will always be a snake. He
    just seems so sincere but obviously he is not. He should be scared
    of Kimberly, she is totally phycho! I read that the cliffhanger will
    be Kimberly trying to blow up the apartment complex at Melrose Place.
    That should be something!
    
    Is Syd cruel or what to Jane!! Jane and Jake did make a cute couple -
    hope they do end up together.

    Hey where has everyone been???? Want to hear what you all think of
    Jess? Is he a babe or what!! He has quite the chip on his shoulder, I
    was so happy when it ended with them at least being civil to each
    other. I saw on MTV when they were interviewing Danny Cortese about
    Melrose, they showed him in Shooters bartending so he sometime soon
    makes it to CA. He is just so damn gorgeous!
    
    Jo and Jake have to get together as a couple. They are the best
    together. 
    
    Allison has quite the tude! Do you beleive how she is acting? Billy had
    the best line when he told her she was stupid.. It was great. Well I 
    guess Michael really does love Amanda. He was telling Matt that he was
    in love with her and the previews for next week show Kimberly freaking
    out as Michael handed her divorce papers. I love it! That must be when 
    Kimberly tries to blow up the complex. I read that is what is going to
    happen in the season finale.

    Well, maybe if Dan comes to Melrose he can switch the story lines from
    Jake and Everyone to the Hanson Bro's and everyone :-), for some
    reason, I can see him ending up with Sydney... they seem to have some
    stuff in common, like sibling rivalry :-).
    
    Michael really surprises me, I guess we've seen him lie so many times,
    that even when he is serious he looks like he is up to no good.  But I
    was surprised that he was so opened about this to Matt.  I can't help
    but to wonder if he wants Amanda for her life insurance.. it just seems
    like something he would be capable of doing.
    
    Allison, I like the previews to next week when even Jo can't take her
    anymore.. she is really on a power kick... and now her 'little friend'
    will be working for Amanda to get Allison kicked out.. and this time I
    really think that I would love to see Allison 'get hers'.  She really
    did screw over Amanda.

    What????? Wow! Is she the new girl who is going to be Amanda's spy?
    That's pretty quick! I read Billy's getting married in real life also.
    He's quite the catch.
    
    It shows Jo also telling Allison that she's on a power trip in next
    weeks previews.
    
    I just love the look on Kimberly's face when she is reading the divorce
    papers. She is such a Loser!

    I read that they are going to kill him off.
    He wants to leave to save his relationship
    with the girl who plays Syd.  I guess things
    are rocky because they are seeing to much of
    each other.  Working and living together isn't
    working out for them.  He said the only way he
    would stay is if they gave him 100 grand an 
    eposide,which is highly unlikely.

    There was a rumor in a magazine a while back that the Producers of
    Melrose wants to start another show but this one taking place on the
    east coast.  I wonder if Jake would leave Melrose to start this new
    show off... after all, it was Jake who started Melrose to begin with
    after being on 90210.

    Well, last night was pretty HOT!!!!!  Where is everyone?  Comments
    please about Kimberly!!!!!

    It took a while to reply to this :-), I really don't think that
    Kimberly is dead.. to easy for the show to get rid of such an important
    character.  But I think she will be leaving Michael alone from now on
    knowing that he would like her to be dead.
    
    What do folks think about Brook?  I guess she really wants Billy!
    Well, I can't wait for the big season final!.

    What happened to everyone?  The file gets cleaned up and everyone 
    goes away :-).  
    
    Any comments on Monday's show (4/3)??? I loved it when Billy put
    Allison in her place... when she went back to his apartment with work
    and then assumed that there would be more going on between the two of
    them.  I also don't know what to make of Brook, I mean she is sleezy
    for working deals with Amanda, but to be honest, the way Allison has
    been towards everyone.. I'm glad to see it happening.. BUT.. I do feel
    that she really does care for Billy, and if thats the case then I would
    like to see them together.
    
    Any comments on Michael????? 

    Can anyone give me a quick synopsis on what happened Monday night.
    
    Wasn't home to watch it and I forgot to turn on my VCR.

    Oh, boy!  Has this show gone over the edge!  Not that it was ever that
    far away to begin with but......
    
    I liked the way it used to be...you know...who slept with who this
    week.  Who's fighting with who and so on but these latest "plots" are
    so bad and so Dallas and Bobby dream sequenceish it's pathetic!

    Its weird seeing the 'older' shows that have been airing lately, seeing
    how Allison and Amanda were actually 'nice' to each other, and Jane
    back with Michael.  But what does sorta make sense is that from the
    beginning when Sydney came on the show, she was jealous of Jane, and
    Michael didn't like her.  I didn't catch that when I first seen the
    shows, but watching them again.. it was all there.
    
    Previews to next weeks show looks good, but I do agree with .18, the
    Kimberly going to this boot camp and coming back to 'get revenge' is
    alittle too far.  And all of a sudden Billy realizes that he has
    feelings for Brook?  All it took was for her to walk out of the
    restaurant on him for him to realize that he loves her????? that is too
    unbelievable.

    
    
    Wonder what they are going to do about the season finale?  Heard lots
    of rumors that they will have to change the ending because of what
    happened in Oklahoma City.
    
    I have to admit, I do like the "nastiness" that Kimberly provides
    towards Michael.
    
    This past weeks episode was funny...(when/why behind formfeed)
    
    
    
    I thought it was funny when Amanda set up Alison and Alison called her
    a "back stabbing, bleached blonde so and so"  I don't recall the exact
    quoate but just thought it was funny because it seemed like they let
    Alison (Courtney TS) ad-lib.
    
    

    
    
    I sorta felt 'bad' for Allison in the meeting when Amanda took over..
    and it was funny what she called Amanda... but I think Allison really
    lost the respect of the board when she told Amanda that she has had it
    out for her since Billy dumped Amanda for her :-).. poor Billy just
    sitting there with his new flame sitting across from him.. come to
    think of it.. Billy slept with all the woman in that room :-).
    
    So, who do you think will become the 'victim' of the murder plot?

    Do you really think so?  He just seems to obvious :-)  I forgot who's
    faces they showed, if that means anything..I know they showed Michaels,
    Amanda's and Jakes' brother... can't remember anyone else.
    
    When is the last show of the season?

 Hi,

 I heard that Jake is leaving the show because it's too hard on his
 relationship with his real-life girlfriend... (the one who plays Sydney,  
 I can't think of her real name).

 Anyone else hear anything about this, or was it just a vicious rumor??

    Well, I guess Jake is going off the show... but I can't beleive that in
    the previews to next weeks show, all they showed was
    Billy/Allison/Brook and not one mention of JAKE who was just shot.
    
    I had a feeling that Sydney was being set up by Jane.. but then I
    honestly didn't think Jane had the brains :-). or should I say would be
    that sleezy :-).  But it was GREAT to see the end results :-).
    
    It also looks like Billy will be marrying Brook by default.. he
    obviously doesn't know that Allison still cares for him due to Brook
    keeping things from him... so when they do get married, most can
    already assume that it won't last.

    
    Notice the name of the doctor who was warning Michael and Kimberly to
    "behave" at the hospital?  His name was Calvin Hobbs.

    
    Does anyone read this file anymore?  Seems that since Kelli left, all
    got quiet in here.... 
    
    No comments on Mondays show?  Next week is the big 2 hour last show of
    the season.  Seems that Allison comes back just in the nick of time.  I
    wonder if Brook will dig her claws in Billy right before Allison
    appears or not.
    
    What about Kimberly?  Looks like Twin Peaks :-) She saw "BOB" in the
    mirror :-).  I wonder what she has planned for Amanda, she is being too
    nice to her lately.. so she MUST have something planned.  And I guess
    that Jake didn't die this time around... he stands up for Billy in the
    previews to next week show.

    
    
    I'm losing interest in this show.  It used to be plain old fun to watch
    with who slept with who, who stabbed who in the back....you know...good
    ol plain soap opera fun but the story lines are getting pretty far
    fetched and down right kooky.  This whole thing with Kimberly is just
    too much.
    
    I already feel bad for Matt.  It looks like he is being set up to take
    the fall for the new doctor.  In the previews it looked like the
    Doctor's wife on the floor and I seem to call the ad saying something
    about someone being framed for murder.
    
    I hope they don't go overboard next season with the kooky storylines.
    

    Any updates on the season finale ?? The VCR was not programmed.

    Alot happened... maybe too much that I might not remember it all :-)
    For starters, Sydney visited Michael in jail, Michael asked her to 
    watch Kimberly because she is losing it, and she set him up. So Sydney
    starts to follow Kimberly around... she goes to the hospital and tells
    Kimberly that she isn't feeling too well, so Kimberly examines her,
    during the examination Kimberly sees her demon in the mirror who tells
    her to 'kill' Sydney because she is one of her enemies... Kimberly
    picks up a pair of scissors and is just about to sneak up behind Sydney
    to stab her, when 'Kimberly' fights the 'demon' and puts the scissors
    down.  Meanwhile, Allison meets a co-worker at an AA Meeting who tells
    her that Brooks father must really 'like' her because he created a
    position for her down there.. that they never had a VP of Marketing
    before.  Allison goes back to her office and calls Brook, only to get
    Amanda on the phone.. Amanda tell her that Brook took the day off to
    get ready for her wedding, Allison asks who she is marrying, and Amanda
    of course tells her 'Billy'.  Allison calls Brook's father up, and
    resigns from the company telling him that she knows why he hired her in
    the first place, to get her out of the country so that Brook could
    marry Billy.  Brook's father calls Brook up and tell her that Allison
    knows what is going on and is flying back to the country.  Brook has
    Billy spend the night at her house giving him some lame excuse so that
    Allison can't reach Billy at Melrose.
    
    Michael gets bailed out by Jack Wagner (can't think of his name at the
    moment), who tells Michael that he will pay his bail and pay for his
    lawyer if Michael goes to the Medical board for him and testifies
    against Amanda so he can practice medicine again.... Michael agrees
    because he is desperate and because of what Amanda did to him. 
    Kimberly finds out who bailed out Michael and goes to visit the doctor
    who is working at a clinic for part of his probation... he makes a pass
    at Kimberly and the two of them spend the night together... Kimberly
    falls in 'love' with him instantly.. she sees her 'demon' again, and
    tells him that she is going to fight him off even if she has to kill
    herself doing it... the 'demon' tells her that this doctor is just
    using her and is no good like all the others, and to kill him, and she 
    won't listen.
    
    Sydney breaks into Kimberly's room at the hotel (she found out from
    Kimberly where she was living when she went for her examination), and
    sees the pictures of everyone that Kimberly hates dripped with blood
    and with their eyes ripped out.  She sees, her, Michael, Amanda, and
    Janes pictures all hanging there, she takes pictures to show Michael
    and goes to the police.  The police notice her name and mentions that
    she is on probation and Michael was charged with stalking Kimberly, so
    why should he beleive them.. and said that Sydney broke into Kimberly's
    room and if she didn't want to be charged with that, then they better
    leave the police station.
    
    Kimberly goes to a dinner with Jack Wagner that the hospital is
    sponcering, and run into Michael and Sydney.. Kimberly gets upset
    seeing him there and goes to the ladies room, she looks in the mirror
    and sees her 'demon' again and starts talking to it... .Sydney pops her
    head into the ladies room, and sees/hears Kimberly talking to the
    mirror and is convinced that Kimberly has lost it.
    
    At the hearing for Jack Wagner, Michael and Kimberly testify in his
    honor, and he sees Amanda there... after the hearing, he and Kimberly
    go back to his house and Kimberly wants to make love with him... he
    gets his phone call saying that he will NOT lose his license to
    practice medicine... Kimberly wants to celebrate with 'sex', and he
    tells her to leave because he has other things to do... on the way out,
    Kimberly over hears him calling Amanda up and leaving a message on her
    machine that after he saw her that day he has feelings for her again.
    Kimberly is upset and sees her 'demon' again, who tells her that she
    has to now kill him along with all the others who hurt her.
    
    Getting long I know :-) .... Billy gets married, Allison gets there in
    the nick of time to ask Billy to give her another chance (infront of 
    all the guest), she tells him that Brook set the whole thing up, and
    that she wrote him a letter before she left telling him how much she
    loved him and that Brook never gave him the letter.  He told her that
    he didn't love her anymore, that he was tired of her mood swings where
    one minute she loved him the next she doesn't, and that he loved Brook
    and he was going through with the wedding... she leaves the wedding
    upset.  Jo is proposed to by Jess.. she at first laughs out of the
    shock and he gets upset and walks out on her for the night.. the next
    day he comes back and tells her again that he wants to marry her, when
    he doesn't get the answer that he wanted to hear, he beats the S**t out
    of her and tells her that she is going to put the ring on her finger!
    Then tells her to 'clean up the mess before he comes home from work'.
    
    Kimberly goes to Melrose and starts setting up explosives in the
    basement, stupid Sydney sees her carrying in containers and STILL
    follows her down stairs, Kimberly grabs her and ties her up, she tells
    Sydney to call Michael and have him go to Melrose to speak to Kimberly
    about dropping her charges against him... Michael doesn't realize the
    tone in Sydney's voice and heads over there... Jack Wagner at the same
    time receives a gift of Champaine in the mail from 'Amanda' which was
    really Kimberly with a note telling him to go to Amanda's place at 6:00
    to talk things over with her... he shows up also.  Everyone is at
    Melrose except for MATT... OH, Billy and Brook stop off at Billy's to
    get the airline tickets (Billy forgot them there) and they have time to
    spare before the plane leaves so they too are at Melrose.
    
    Matt is at the police station.. his new doctor friend invites him to
    dinner one night telling Matt that his wife left him.. actually his
    wife just left for an overnight stay at a relatives house.  While Matt
    is eating dinner, he tells Matt that the candlesticks are antiques, and
    to pick one up and read the year on the bottom.. which Matt does.  Then
    he tells Matt that he will give him a key to the house and for Matt to
    go there the next day and 'cook' him dinner.  Next day Matt goes to the
    house and the alarm goes off (the doctor told Matt that he wouldn't put
    it on that day), while Matt is trying to shut the alarm off, he calls
    the hospital and the doctor isn't there.. from where he is standing he
    sees the wife laying on the floor with blood coming from the head and
    of course the candlestick right next to her.. the one with Matt's
    finger prints on it... Matt gets arrested and at the police station the
    doctor shows up as the grieving husband and accuses Matt as being a 
    phycho who has been scouting out the house and more or less being a
    fatal attraction.. Matt realizes then that the doctor has been setting
    him up all along... 
    
    Michael finds Sydney tied up in the basement, and knocks Kimberly out,
    they run around knocking on everyone's door and telling  them to get
    out of the place that there is a bomb there... Jake and Amanda are on
    their way back from Billy's wedding and sees Jack Wagner there, Amanda
    asks him why he is there and he tells her because she told him to show
    up, Amanda denies this.. and just then Jo comes crawling out of her
    door asking for 'help'.. Jake sees her all beaten up and knows it is
    Jess who did this.  He goes off to beat the crap out of his brother..
    Amanda and Jack Wagner go to Jo's help and go back inside to Jo's
    apartment... Kimberly comes walking out while most folks are all asking
    why they are knocking on their doors, and Kimberly comes walking out
    with the devise in her hand ready to push the bomb... that is when the
    show ends... OH, and Jake and Jess are fighting at Jess's work location
    (construction site), and they both fall over the platform, so it ended
    with those two both falling a great distance.... that is the
    cliffhanger ... 
    
    WOW, alot of info... and I still left out a few things.. but I hope
    this helps.  Maybe someone else can clearify things if I was off/wrong
    about anything. 

WOW!   That must have taken some effort - great job!  The only major part of the storyline I 
don't think you mentioned was the new hunk that hired Jane on to be part of his clothing 
design team. (This was after she had to claim bankruptcy for her own company)  He is 
working with D&D (?) on an advertising campaign.  Of course, he and Jane ended up in bed 
after their first dinner meeting - it didn't make his "older" lady friend too happy.

The new actor is pretty cute - I used to watch him as "Austin Reed" on "Days of our Lives".

    Don't know how TRUE this will turn out, but I read in a magazine who
    will survive the Melrose blast and who won't... again don't know how
    true this is:
    
    Allison will NOT survive.. her contract is up, and she wants to go into 
    the movie business.
    
    Jane will NOT, again, her contract us up, and she wants to do other
    things.
    
    Amanda WILL survive, however later in the season her cancer will come
    back, only this time it will hit hard, and she will die from it.  She
    wants out because she wants to start a family, and in the article it
    says that the producers of the show are grateful that she brought the
    ratings up, and will let her end her contract.  But, the way she dies
    will leave the views wondering if the cancer kills her, or if Michael
    kills her due to the law suit she brought against him.  She will also 
    lose all her hair and look more like a cancer patient then in the past,
    I guess too many people wrote in commenting on how 'good' Amanda looked
    for someone with cancer, so this time when she is hit with it, they
    will make it look much more beleivable.
    
    Jake.. WILL survive the fall, but his brother won't.
    
    AGAIN.. DON'T HOLD ME TO THIS, THIS IS WHAT I READ!!!!! Things could be
    totally different.
    

    
    
    Wow, sounds like the show will be losing a lot of female 
    "good girls" if those predictions are true.  Maybe this means
    Sidney will straighten up her act, or we'll see more of Jo's
    character.
    
    I hope they're going to catch Kimberly - her psycho attitude
    is getting kinda boring....or just too predictable.

    Update again :-) I read in this weeks People Magazine.. that Allison
    survives, But.. she will lose her eyesight... Billy will come to her
    aid which will make Brook very Jealous.  Kimberly will be declared 
    'insane', and institutionalized... and remember that Morgan Britney?
    She is the wife of the guy that Jane is messing around with?  Well, she
    dies in the boming..

    Yup, I checked out the new TV guide this week.. and its on next week.
    Monday at 8:00.  I sorta thought that maybe with all the hype from last
    season (who survives/who doesn't) that this would be a 2 hour premier,

I read somewhere that Jake's brother dies in the explosion and
that Alison is blinded.

    
    
            Last night MP had their 100th episode and continued on with
            the storyline.
    
            Here are the highlights:
    
            Allison gets her sight back and can see what Brooke is
            up to (especially after she visited Allison while she
            couldn't see and "warned" her to stay away from Billie).
            Billie and Allison are sharing a slow dance at a Corporate
    	    function.
    
            Jane and Richard spat then make-up then spat again.
    
    	    Jake and Jo get close then decide they should just be
            friends then decide "go for a relationship again".
    
            Sidney is a busy little receptionist.
    
            Jess's former wife shows up on Jakes doorstep and takes
            comfort in Jake's hugs once he tells her Jess is dead.
    
            Kimberly goes to court only to have that crazy man in
            her head come back to visit her.  He tells her to take
            revenge on her accusers so she attacks Michael and Sidney
            in the courtroom.  Peter thanks Michael for insighting
            her anger and off to the slammer/crazy house she goes
            except this time she's really losing it now that she
            realizes she's crazy and the man is still haunting her.
    
            Matt confronts his attorney for being lazy and tries to
            get the guy that shot his wife to confess by taping his
            confession after telling the guy that his wife wrote Matt
            a letter telling him something was up and that they were
            being used.
    
            The lover invites Matt over to talk out the situation and
            asks him to bring the letter (which doesn't happen to
            exist).  Just before the lover shoots Matt, the cops and
            Matt's attorney bust in and have a shoot out wounding the
            lover who coughs up a confession before he dies -- WOW!
    
            Brooke breaks into Amanda's secret drawer to find an old
            envelope with papers and a license that says Amanda Parazi
            (or something italian like that).  This is opening the door
            for Antonio Sabato Jr. to come on board as her former husband.
    
            Preview for next week is Brooke trying to blackmail Amanda.

    I can't beleive nobody replies to this anymore.  Did everyone stop 
    watching???? So, why is Sydney back to her old tricks again???? What
    is it with that woman?  She has a descent job, getting paid good money,
    yet still continues to butt in where she isn't needed.  Also, I
    think that Jake is a dirtbag! Jo doesn't need him, and I sorta like her
    with Richard.
    
    Is it also just me, or did Brooke get pregnant sorta FAST? Just one
    episode shows her out to get pregnant, and WOW, she is!.. and the
    Halloween decorations were still up in Jakes Bar the whole time :-)
    :-). Sometimes this show goes alittle too far too soon. 

    
    What I think Brooke is doing is pretending she's pregnant so they
    won't use any birth control anymore so she will get pregnant. She
    want's to keep it a secret so people won't be the wiser when she
    doesn't show for a while, etc. Billy needs to dump her and quick.
    
    I was thinking the same thing about Sydney. She just doesn't know when
    to quit. Just when you start to feel a little something for her she
    turns horribly evil again and I hate her. Amanda at least has always
    shown a little compassionate side even when she was at her bitchiest
    so I've always liked her, even when I hated her. Sydney I just can't
    like at all.

    Well, looks like Brooke may really be pregnant...she had
    morning sickness this week, and she has started to tell 
    people that she is indeed pregnant. 
    
    I kinda like the square/triangle relationship that has been 
    heating up between Jo/Jane/Jake/Robert....Jo and Robert seemed
    to be pretty involved down in Hawaii...
    
    I also like the Alison/Haley combination...although I'm not a
    fan of either one of them, they're bearable together.
    
    What do you all think about Amanda getting back together with Peter?
    Is she just using him (again!) to get something?
    
    And now that Kimberly is back at MP she'll be able to watch everything

    The Kimberly story line is a killer!.. I mean the woman blows up the
    place and then she is able to 'move' in to the same complex?????? And
    how did she get that bracelett taken off so soon?  I mean pretty fast
    huh? First Peter discovers that he can go back to Amanda, then Kimberly
    is suddenly OK to be let loose in the real world again :-).  But I will
    say that I like seeing Michael kissing Sydney's butt!

    Kimberly still wears the bracelett, but she did remove it herself by
    busting her wrist.  I don't know why they would let her move back in,
    she will be causing trouble soon now that she seen Peter and Amanda
    kissing!!!!!!!!!!!!  I think Billy should dump Brooke soon she is
    nothing but trouble.  Do you think she is really pregnant????

    I don't know if she is really pregnant, but a few weeks ago, when she
    had her first bout with morning sickness, after Billy left, it looked
    like she was still sick...which would mean she isn't faking it.. but
    maybe I am wrong and Billy was still there.. 
    
    I have a feeling that Michael is up to something, I don't think that
    Amanda's husband is DEAD yet... I heard that he was surposed to be on
    the show until at least December.. and did you notice that nobody could
    see (look) into the casket?  I wouldn't be surprised if Michael and the
    laywer are up to something.  They have to start writing something good
    into the story line.. the show is getting sorta boring (all I've seen
    is SEX lately), so if they want the ratings to go up, then they better
    have some good lines coming up soon.

    
    
    Gee, I think that Amanda's husband must be dead.  He flatlined in
    the hospital bed, and they did open the casket at the funeral home.

    I personally think that Jack's brother (Name?) is going to be Amanda's
    new love interest.  When she was talking to Peter, she mentioned that 
    there was someone before Jack who she fell completely and deeply in
    love with - I'm taking bets that its Jack's brother!  
    
    I had heard on the radio that the actor who played Jack didn't get
    along with Heather Locklear at all, and that was the reason he was
    killed off so quickly.  Hopefully, Jack's brother will hang around a
    little bit longer.
    

    
    
    I saw on some show a clip of Amanda cutting Bobby's hair while his
    shirt was off.  Looked like in her apt.  Gosh, she's got more talents
    than we realized!  That "do" of his is rather early Mafioso.
    
    Let's hope Bobby stays around for a while and can't go through with
    killing little Amanda.  Wonder if his father will bump him off for
    not killing Amanda.  What a family!

    If Amanda can cut hair, then why can't she get her hair all one color
    :-) :-) for a woman who is so beautiful, MP doesn't do much for her
    hair.. I mean they even wrote it into the show when Allison found out
    that she was no longer the president of BD, and she blew up at Amanda
    calling her a fake blond with dark roots (something like that, can't
    remember the exact words now its been a while).

    Well, Amanda should be looking over her shoulder from now on as Bobby
    will be given the nod to wipe her out.  I assume the order is coming
    from Jack and Bobby's father.  Peter is biding his time now that Amanda
    has told her she is in love with Bobby.  
    
    Sydney tried to admit Jane to a nursing home with Peter contributing
    to the monthly fee as Michael is still shacking up with Peter and 
    driving him nuts.  With Jane in a home, Michael can go back to his
    beach house.  Syndey invites Michael over for dinner and wheels Jane
    out onto the beach.  The tide comes in and Jane gets flung into the
    ocean only to be saved by a visiting Jake who is going to "make sure
    nobody ever hurts Jane again".  
    
    Jo decides not to go to the police with the phynabarbetol pills she
    found in Richard's office (Sydney planted the pills she slipped into
    Jane's drink in a desk drawer).  As a matter of fact, Jo declares
    her love for Richard and they end up high tailing it home to !@#$%^&.
    
    Allison is trying to be very supportive to Brooke but alas Brooke
    looses it and Billy runs away from his crazed wife and shares with
    Allison that he did indeed marry the wrong woman...... he should've
    married Allison.
    
    Matt and his new roommate/lover are already showing signs of a 
    strain on their relationship when the roommate gets a bit part 
    in a soap opera and Matt foregoes studying for a test to go out
    and celebrate.

    Pretty boring show this week except for the last two minutes which
    had Amanda and Bobby held at gunpoint by Bobby's father telling 
    Bobby that one of them has to die -- Amanda or Bobby.  I had to 
    laugh because the "bad father" character used to Rhoda's husband 
    on her spinoff show from MTM and always played a good guy.  He looked
    like the past 15 years hadn't been too kind to him at all.
    
    Jane and Jake are all goo-goo over each other and Jane is finally up
    on a cane.  She has decided to start her own design company again and
    take some of "her" clients from Hart & Mancini.  
    
    Billy has left Brooke and she is losing control big time.  Glad Billy
    finally went out and bought a spine when it comes to her.  
    
    Matt's live-in is turning out to be kind of a jerk.  He is playing 
    down his "gayness" which is disturbing to Matt.
    
    Peter is trying to invest some $$$ into a deal Bobby has going.  He
    is playing interested in Bobby's woman attorney which should soon 
    turn out to be a showdown as I remember seeing a clip somewhere of
    Bobby, Amanda, Peter and "the attorney" at dinner somewhere in a 
    future show.
    
    Tune in this Monday to figure out how Amanda and Bobby get away from
    the bad father............ does Peter come to Amanda's rescue once

    	OK, what happened last night?
    
    	I'm somewhat curious, having watched this show, oh, I don't
    	know, 1.5 times since the series started. 8^)  But there's a
    	person in another conference that wants to know.
    

    CAn someone describe the previews for the episode in 2 weeks.
    Here in Atlanta the news-baffoons could not wait 20 seconds to
    bring in a weather update. They HAD to do it right when the
    previews started!

    The previews were pretty brief this week but they mainly centered around
    the addition of Loni Anderson to the show as a guest star.  Looks like
    she's going to be hanging around with Dr. Peter Burns and maybe giving
    Amanda some stiff competition.
    
    Previews also showed Amanda telling Billy that she only slept with him
    to get the upper hand on their business situation.  Big surprise there,
    huh?
    
    Think that was about it...oh yeah, they did mention that the show
    wouldn't be on next week.  Two weeks until we get our next MP fix!

    Let the recap begin for last night's action packed show!
    
    Michael comes out of his hammer induced stupor only to think a robber
    came in and was after their valuables.  He soon gets religion and
    decides to come clean with Kimberly about his rendesvous on the beach
    with the beauty contestant only to have Kimberly throw a knife at him
    and then run away from Peter's insistance that "Betsy" be institution-
    alized.
    
    Jane tells Allison and then Jake that Richard raped her.  Jake is off
    to deal with Richard himself.  Jane lets Jake go -- hopefully to kill
    Richard or at least feel badly he set the two of them up in business
    again!
    
    Sydney finds out Peter and Bobby's attorney were in cahoots so Peter
    could get Amanda and the attorney gets the cable company.  Bobby 
    confronts the attorney (what's her name????) in Peter's office and
    unfortunately goes winging out the window to his death.  The attorney
    then is on the run but calls Peter to tell her it was an accidental
    death, blah, blah, blah............... drops her car phone and slams
    into an 18 wheeler.  Naturally the police think Peter is guilty and
    now Amanda knows the truth and is wracked about Bobby'd death.
    
    Jo gets set up via Matt with the pompous doctor she took Tyler to.
    The doctor wants a "chance" at her.  Jo turns the table and gets the
    doctor to confront Tyler's mother who coughs up a story about her old
    boyfriend beating her son -- I'm not quite buying that story yet but
    we'll have to wait and see!
    
    Billy was boring.............. Amanda was whiny -- what else is new?

    Great news for Melrose Place fans - Rob Estes, the great detective
    Chris Lorenzo from Silk Stalkings, joins the show this fall.  Estes
    was so good with Mitzi Kapture in Silk Stalkings that I might start to

         This Week on Melrose Place ...

         Deja Vu, All Over Again
         Original Air Date: 4/14/97

         At the hospital, Sydney is visited by Harry Dean, the shyster
         lawyer. She tells him that her injuries are a lot more painful
         than she had anticipated, with a broken rib and a separated
         shoulder. Harry shrugs that they will need a stronger case than
         just minor injuries, and need something like possible nerve
         damage, to collect the "big" money. When he tells her that they
         could collect five million, if she "plays her cards right",
         Sydney lets out a whoop of exhilaration. At this moment, Billy,
         Amanda, Craig and Kyle all come rushing in to see her. Sydney
         quickly subdues her joyous reaction, to moans and groans, with
         complaints of numbness in her hands. When they asks if there is
         anything they can do, Sydney answers weakly that maybe some sleep
         will ease her agony. Amanda is suspicious, but says nothing. In
         the corridor, Harry rushes up to Amanda, handing her his card,
         saying he'll be in touch. Amanda snaps that she recalls seeing
         him "hanging on the ambulance fender when it arrived". Billy
         crosses to the pay phone to call Samantha but gets no answers at
         home.

         At Shooters, Samantha confronts her father about having escaped
         from prison. She tells him that the police have stopped by the
         apartment looking for him and asking questions. She advises him
         to turn himself in now. Jim Reilly apologizes to his daughter for
         getting her mixed up in this mess, but he says he had no where to
         turn. He can't go back to prison, because he made enemies there
         and they will kill him. Jim adds that he just needs a little time
         until he can plan a run for the Mexican border.

         Michael and Megan are jogging on the beach, and still arguing
         about her not following through on his plan to sabotage Peter's
         position as Chief of Staff. The argument dissipates into horse
         play and a race for the beach house. To their surprise, they find
         they have a visitor. Michael's young sister, Jennifer, has come
         from back East for a visit. When Jennifer throws her arms around
         her brother and gives him a kiss, Megan's first thought is that
         this is one of her husband's old girl friends, but calms down
         when told she is her sister-in-law. Jennifer tells them she wants
         to stay for a while, maybe get a job here in Los Angeles. Michael
         is not too enthusiastic about the idea, remembering how his
         family had turned their back on him, until he became a successful
         doctor. Megan, however, is rather intrigued with the chance of
         getting to know more about Michael's family, a subject he was
         never prone to discuss.

         At home, Billy brings Samantha up to date on the Sydney accident.
         When he discovers that Reilly has moved out, Samantha says that
         he has taken a job back in Chicago and she dropped him off at the
         bus station last night. She tells him nothing about his being a
         prison escapee, but Billy notices her tenseness. He gives her a
         kiss, pleased that they can again have time alone.

         Craig comes to Amanda's office to show her the summons from
         Sydney's attorney. Amanda is not too concerned , even with the
         demands for five million, adding that is why they have insurance
         coverage. After a few moments, Craig explains that last year,
         when their insurance company did a review of their policy, they
         stipulated certain exclusions, unsafe parts of the work area,
         that pending repairs, could not be covered. Amanda is shocked
         when he adds that he had intended to make the repairs, but just
         never got around to it. She is livid, shouting that was his
         responsibility, and she cannot do his job and run an advertising
         business too. She snaps that it is his mess, so he'd better fix
         it.

         At Shooters the belated wedding celebration for Jake and Alison
         is underway. Billy proposes a toast and everybody drinks to
         health and happiness for the newly weds. Samantha notices Matt
         sitting quietly by himself "nursing" a beer. She and Billy cross
         to him. He explains about Chelsea making a decision to go back to
         Europe with her mother. Samantha questions the legality, since
         Matt had been assigned as the teenager's guardian. Matt says that
         is true , but Chelsea has a mind of her own. Samantha answers
         that she knows what he means by teenagers being stubborn, and
         adds that as a teenager herself, if she'd done everything she had
         wanted, she wouldn't have had "David Lee Roth's love child". She
         quickly tells Matt to be sure that, before he gives up Chelsea
         for good, it is what he really wants to do. As they walk away,
         Billy stares incredulously at Samantha, asking "David Lee Roth's
         love child?". He gets only a smile from Samantha in answer.

         At the beach house, Megan has a talk with Jennifer. Jennifer says
         that she has been a disappointment to Michael, but she hopes to
         get a good job and prove herself to him. When she says she hasn't
         made up a resume yet, Megan offers to help write one , using the
         computer at the medical offices. Jennifer expresses some
         hesitation, saying that Michael will feel she is just taking
         advantage of people again. Megan promises not to tell Michael.

         Jake stumbles around closing up Shooters for the night. He is
         exhausted from the party the gang threw for him and Alison. She
         crosses over to him carrying a bottle of champagne. When he
         advises that she not have any champagne, she counters that she
         has had nothing but bottled water all evening, and one little
         toast will not hurt. As she opens the bottle her pulls her close
         and into a sexy embrace sprawled across the pool table. Two newly
         weds, obviously very much in love.

         Next morning, Alison seeks out some aspirin from the bathroom and
         downs them, just as Jake comes in. He asks her to hand him some
         aspirin, and when he asks if she needs any, she denies having had
         but one glass of champagne. Their conversation is interrupted by
         a knock at the door. Alison opens it to find Colleen Patterson,
         Jake ex-girlfriend, and mother of his son, standing there. Alison
         has never met Colleen, and she is a bit stunned to see Jake
         embrace this woman. Colleen is surprised to hear that Jake and
         Alison are now married. Jake insists that they take Colleen out
         to dinner. In spite of her discomfort, Alison conceals her
         feelings behind a saccharin smile, not delighted to being
         sociable with some woman that Jake has been very close to in the
         past.

         Taylor has prepared pancakes the way Beth always did, and is
         making every effort to dress like Peter's ex-wife. However, all
         her efforts seem to be in vain, as he reacts angrily saying that
         the last time that he felt completely happy was with Beth, and a
         stack of pancakes is not going to recapture those wonderful
         months.

         Matt goes to meet with Chelsea and her mother, Denise, at the
         hotel lobby. He is supposed to be delivering Chelsea's passport,
         but instead, hands Denise a court order prohibiting her from
         taking Chelsea out of the country. Denise protests that this is
         her child, and he has not right to stop her. When Matt confronts
         her with abandoning Chelsea for years, Denise counters that she
         never stopped loving her daughter. Chelsea gets upset over all
         the bickering, asking why she doesn't have a choice in the
         matter. Matt says that she is a minor and perhaps does not see
         the "larger picture". When Matt tells Denise that she had better
         hurry or she will miss her flight to Paris, Denise snaps that she
         has changed her mind about leaving and intends to stay and fight
         this custody battle.

         Samantha goes to see her father at the cheap hotel, where he is
         hiding out. He tells her of his plans for sneaking across the
         Mexican border, but will need five hundred in cash to pull it
         off. When Samantha protests that she doesn't have that kind of
         cash lying around, Jim Reilly suggests that she should get it
         from her yuppy boyfriend, Billy. Samantha says she will figure
         out some way, and will be in touch.

         Craig drops by to see Amanda and reveals his plan for persuading
         Sydney to drop the law suite. He feels that by showering her with
         attention and a few presents, he can pull it off, but Amanda says
         that the only thing that interests Sydney is cold hard cash..
         Craig says he will give his plan a try, anyway. He then asks
         Amanda if they will be going together to tomorrow night's
         function at the Museum of Modern Art. Amanda crushes his hopes by
         answering that she has a date already, and besides he had better
         concentrate of wooing Sydney. As Craig leaves, Amanda telephones
         Kyle at the restaurant and invites him as her date for the art
         opening. When Amanda says, with a chuckle, that this is not
         really a date, it's just a night out with a friend, Kyle responds
         with a "something like that" answer. As he hangs up the phone,
         his lips part in a pleased smile.

         At the beach house, Michael is struggling to get some sleep, in
         spite of the loud television sound from the living room, where
         Jennifer is watching cartoons. He tells Megan he needs some peace
         and quiet in his life, and some time alone with his wife, and
         Jennifer's presence is not helping the situation. Megan tells him
         she helped Jennifer prepare a resume and she seems anxious to get
         a job. Michael goes on to tell Megan how he feels that his family
         has always exploited him, and now he is saddled with the
         near-do-well sister. To Megan's pleas, he agrees to call a friend
         and set up an interview for Jennifer.

         At the apartment, Billy arrives home carrying bags of groceries,
         announcing that he is going to cook up a special dinner for them.
         He explains that he realizes that her not having a job is very
         stressful, and the best tonic for that, is sitting down to a good
         meal. When Samantha says she wishes she could help with the
         costs, Billy lays his ATM card on the table saying that they are
         a couple, and anything she needs to buy, just draw out cash at
         the bank. As he rushes off to the bedroom to change, Samantha
         picks up the card as she ponders over concealing from Billy, her
         real need for five hundred cash.

         Craig is swimming laps in the courtyard pool as Sydney arrives
         home from the hospital, accompanied by her lawyer, Harry Dean.
         Harry cautions her, that living in the same apartment building as
         the defendants, means that she must always be on guard, not to
         drop her physical impairment ruse. Harry tells her to page him if
         she needs help, and remember there are "eyes" watching all the
         time, he adds as he glances toward Craig in the pool. As Harry
         leaves, Craig quickly crosses to Sydney, inquiring as to how she
         is feeling. Sydney gives him a "no comment" answer and struggles
         painfully inside, closing the door behind her.

         Jennifer shows up for her job interview, that Michael has set up
         with Amanda.. From the very start, the two women exchange verbal
         barbs, but when Jennifer criticizes a certain advertising
         campaign promoting a diet plan with the use of a "bimbo's busty
         body" plastered on billboards all over town, Amanda tells her
         that was her advertising idea.. Jennifer answers that she is
         terribly embarrassed. After a moment she adds, "For you", to
         Amanda. At this point, Amanda has had enough of this young
         women's "cheek" and terminates the interview, advising that with
         her attitude, she'll have a tough job finding a job anywhere.
         Jennifer snaps back, "that attitude didn't seemed to stop you
         from rising to the top".

         Using Billy's ATM card, Samantha withdraws five hundred dollars
         and gives it to her father, so he can make a run for the Mexican
         border.

         Michael arrives home to find Jennifer in their bedroom with the
         stereo blasting forth. A bit agitated, he asks how her job
         interview went, with Amanda. Jennifer puts on a tearful act about
         how rude Amanda was to her, and speculates that her brother
         purposely set her up for this humiliation, perhaps to settle some
         old score against the family. Michael assures her that is not
         true, and is about to telephone Amanda for an explanation.
         Jennifer stops him by adding that it won't do any good, because
         she made it quite clear that she didn't hire friends or relatives
         in her business. As she brings forth mock tears of
         disappointment, Michael pulls her close to comfort her.

         As Amanda and Kyle are leaving for the Art Museum Gala, Sydney
         calls out to Kyle asking him if he would be kind enough to carry
         out her garbage, because it is too painful for her to walk that
         far. Craig overhears the conversation from his apartment and
         rushes down to lend a hand. Amanda comments to Sydney, that her
         Prince Charming has arrived. Craig goes inside and tells Sydney
         he will program her phone so she need only punch one button, if
         she needs help with anything, from a man. He gives her a
         seductive look as he exits.

         Over dinner at Kyle's Restaurant, Colleen reveals that she and
         her husband are separating, and Alison begins to have suspicions
         as to the real purpose of her visit. She wonders if Colleen was
         hoping to get back together with Jake so her young son, David,
         would have a "father image "in his life. Alison sips wine as her
         feelings of insecurity build, over this evidently strong parental
         bond between Jake and Colleen..

         At the Art Museum Gala, Kyle and Amanda stroll past the exhibits
         of modern paintings, exchanging their personal impressions of the
         art works. Amanda confesses that she started out wanting to be a
         painter, but the more practical side of her brain prevailed and
         she decided that having food on the table was more important.
         Kyle says that he loves art, but perhaps even more, he is drawn
         to music, particularly jazz. They move out on the dance floor and
         sway to the easy rhythms of a jazz combo. This intimate moment is
         interrupted by the museum director, who informs Amanda that the
         publisher of an art magazine is ready to interview her. Amanda
         pulls herself away reluctantly, glancing back at Kyle, as she
         feels an emotional bond building between them..

         When Jake comes home, Alison tells him that Colleen telephoned
         saying that David had a rough day at school and she felt it would
         be helpful, if Jake called him.. As Jake reaches for the
         telephone, Alison makes a somewhat caustic comment about his
         personal obligations, causing Jake to question her meaning. He
         thinks that she is upset about last night's visit with Colleen
         when the subject of the miscarriage came into the conversation.
         Alison corrects him by saying she was concerned to hear of
         Colleen's pending divorce, and the quite obvious attachment that
         Colleen still has for him. Although Jake pooh-poohs the idea,
         Alison continues by saying that the two of them had a child
         together, but she is no longer able to give him a child. Jake
         holds her close trying to sooth her pain by telling her that it
         doesn't matter, because he loves her.

         At Peter's condo, Taylor has dug through some packing boxes and
         found some video tapes that were taken of Beth. She watches
         intently, studying and mimicking her sister's every move.

         Amanda drops by to see Kyle in the restaurant kitchen..
         Remembering that Kyle mentioned his interest in opening a "jazz
         club", she tells him that she would like to invest some money and
         be a partner in the venture. Kyle is hesitant, saying that this
         restaurant was a partnership with Taylor, and look how
         disastrously that has ended up. Amanda reminds that the
         partnership was between two people in love, whereas this business
         deal will be between just good friends. Amanda starts for the
         exit, adding that he should consider this a brief window of
         opportunity, so he should call or come by, because the door will
         be open only a short time. Kyle's eyes follow her out, excited by
         the prospects, but wondering if he can trust her.

         At the condo, Peter arrives home to find Taylor has undergone a
         complete metamorphosis, dressed primly, with hair upswept in a
         sophisticated style. Peter becomes angry and shouts that it is
         his "memories" not hers, and he will tell her how he wants to
         relive them. A frightened Taylor stands rigidly as he approaches
         her. He grabs her roughly, forcing her down and kissing her
         ravenously. Tears stream down her cheeks, and fear mounts over
         this demon that now seems to possess her lover.
