| I caught the premier episode. It could have used a little more work but
the show has been getting steadily better. The premier introduced most
of the characters and explained the old Ned was in jail waiting to be
hanged for something unknown. Unfortunately this week is the last
episode and it is not listed in the fall schedule.

| Bummer - figures that it's not going to be on anymore just because I
like it! Darn, darn, and double darn! This always happens to me!
Why didn't they just call it a mini series or something? Grrrrr......
I really like all of the characters too - the duputy's name is Sticks
because he's so skinny.
Oh well, maybe they'll renew it - one can only hope!

I've enjoyed this series a lot too. The overall look of the production may
be familiar (not to mention the actor playing Sticks) if you've seen _Lonesome
Dove_, same producer. I'm really surprised it's had so few episodes, four
or five in the summer don't seem to be sufficient to judge it's potential
audience. Mabye they'll bring it back as a replacement later.

| Was that it? The "Sticks" guy was in Lonesome Dove? Now that you mention it,
yeah the feel is very similar.
Re possible cancellation ... aaaaauuuuuuuggggghhhhh.

| ARGH! Does anyone in the Boston area know why they showed an old
Perry Mason show instead of Ned Blessing last night? Needless to say,
I was severely bummed! I realize that Raymond Burr just passed away,
but I was really looking forward to watching Ned!
GRRRRR!
