| I have a question about Friday night's Picket Fences behind the
form-feed (warning, this is giving away part of the story and the
ending of that episode)
Do (did) Mayor Lawson and his wife have any children? I thought that
part of the desegregation storyline in previous episodes was that then
Mr. Lawson didn't want his son attending the same school with the city
kids. Mrs. Lawson (after stuffing her husband in the freezer) left
with just her suitcases. There was no mention throughout the entire
show about any kid.

I think you're right about them having a child. It also appeared that this
woman wasn't firing on all cylinders so she might well have just left her
children.

| Whhoooowwww.... I just watched the last episode of Picket Fences
(from 2 Fridays ago I think) on tape and let me tell you, those
scenes between Max and Kenny were HOT! They finally got together
(hope I'm not spoiling this for anyone - nobody could possibly
be as far behind in their tape viewing than me :*) ) I'm
looking forward to their future storyline - hope they keep them
happy for awhile because I feel the 2 actors have great chemistry.
Question though.... wasn't Kenny dating Kimberly? What happened
to them?

| At the end of one episode, Kenny and Kimberly decided that they were
pursuing each other only to get back at Jimmy. They believed that they
were seeing each other for the wrong reasons so they decided to stop.
The show is not on this week either. Homicide is on. I hope they
bring it back soon. They haven't even found the mayor yet!!

I believe that it is produced by David E.(?) Kelley who is also the
creator and was responsible for (or played a significant part in the
formulation of) other series such as L.A. Law and E.R. (or is it
Chicage Hope? I don't watch them...)
He is from the Boston area and I believe there are references in other
notes to how he introduces references to our area from time to time.
He's also married to Michelle Pfeiffer [poor guy ;^)]

| Actually, David E. Kelley did produce LA Law in the early days, (as the
ad for Chicago Hope says, when it was good!) I just read the TV
listing for tonight's show: That's why they showed the dancing bandit
show last week. Behind spoiler:
Jimmy is going to enlist the help of the "dancing bandit" to find Mayor
Lawson. Like, haven't they searched his house at all????

ending, the last 2 shows are on tonight on Channel 4 from 9:00 - 11:00.

| I watched it last night, but can't remember if it was on the American
or the Canadian station. It wasn't one of the better episodes, IMHO.
You can tell that it was a rushed episode that just wanted to wrap up
some unfinished business. Too bad - I always liked this show. It
combined a quirky sense of humour with some valid social issues.

Show they didn't get to show for whatever reasons this year.
If it would have been ER, they would have made it to air, but
its ratings made it a candidate to bump it a lot or rush right
to the finales. These are all pre-final-episode shows.
I guess they figure what the heck, good enough for summer rerun
season.
