In Hinduism, there is a Sanskrit statement that is: Vasudhaiva
Kutumbakam, which means 'The whole world is one family." That means I
am treated as a sister (mother, or niece) by my Hindu friends - am
literally a member of the extended family with by close friends - and
that's what really does take place, even though I'm not Hindu per se.
When the first swami to set foot on US soil came to address the World
Parliament of Religions in 1893 - Swami Vivekananda - he began his
address with the words, "Sisters and Brothers of America", and all 7000
people lept to their feet and applauded for several minutes.

Probably with too much of a bent toward intellectualizing although

As long as you ask questions and don't assume, I believe one can
discuss stuff with one who they don't feel communicates well. But if you tell
them what you think they mean, and in a matter of fact way, problems arise.

Many times problems arise because when the non communicator is asked to
clarify, they say they don't want to waste their time. That to me is
when snags can arise. Basically finishing what you started and I admit
I am guilty of this at times!

perceived by NON-Christians?" Are the people you encounter in your
life more or less interested in Christ by meeting you?
