1032.0. "Malcolm Muggeridge" by CSC32::J_CHRISTIE (Unquenchable fire) Fri Jan 06 1995 16:33
I happen to be watch PBS the other day and caught a rebroadcast of a
William F. Buckley interview with Malcolm Muggeridge.
Apparently, Muggeridge died in 1990 at the age of 87.
Muggeridge made some remarkably delightful statements, like (paraphrasing
here), "Saints and clowns are the only ones you can trust to tell you the
truth. And so, it's fitting that we find spires and gargoyles on cathedrals,
side by side."
Anybody know anything about this Muggeridge fellow?
Shalom,
Richard
