Tuesday night evangelist David Felt was preaching
at Higher Ground Ministries on 186 Central st. in Gardner, Mass.
about broken hearts.
He discussed people who had been sexually harmed in
in their past, and whose spirit had been marked as a result of
such activity, as to present an advertisement in the spirit
realm which said:
"I have been hurt!!! Please come hurt me again!!!"
A young man had been raped by an older man. Everywhere
he went, he found that other men came up to him and confronted
him, and propositioned him. He was marked. Frequently, he'd
give in to their advances. Finally, he started going out and
looking for them.
By the time this person was 22 years old, he was ready
to commit suicide. And in fact, was on his way to do it. He
did not know what to do. He could not find any help. A psy-
chologist was supposed to help him, but after 3 sessions, the
psychologist took advantage of him. The preachers he met all
told him that this was his fate, or that he had to repent. He
couldn't find any peace.
On his way to kill himself, the young man stopped at
the house of a man who he enjoyed ragging on because he was the
only person that he could make fun of. Everyone in town thought
that this man was the craziest person in town. He was ex-Baptist.
But, one day, he started speaking in tongues, and proclaiming the
power of the Holy Spirit, and the whole town ostracised him.
The young man walked up to his house and said, "You know,
for some reason, I was impressed to come and see you. You see, I
am on my way to kill myself. And, I figured I should come by and
let you know that I have been making fun of you throughout town
for the last 30 days because you are the only one in town that is
crazier than me." The older man said to him.... "I am not
surprised that you came to me. God told me 30 days ago to start
fasting for you. Listen, before you kill yourself, would you at
least do me a favor? I know what your problem is, and I think I
can help you. You have a devil inside of you, and he is the one
that is driving you to the point of self-destruction. Let me
take you to see a man who can help you, and I believe that you
can be set free from this."
Since the young man did not have anything better to do, he
agreed and they took off in a car to go see a man named Dr. Norvel
Hayes. Dr. Hayes and a group of Christians were all praying in the
Spirit in a circle, and they brought the young man in, gathered
around him, and prayed over him for about a half an hour. Then
Dr. Hayes layed hands on the young man, and told that devil to
come out of him in the Name of Jesus. And it did. Jesus healed
his broken heart. ( The older man who took him to see Norvel
Hayes was a former Baptist minister, but they kicked him out for
praying in tongues. )
A young woman came to Evangelist David Felts and explained
that everywhere she went she was being accosted sexually for a
certain type of sexual favor. She did not know how, or why. But,
it was driving her up a wall. Men she had never met before would
just pop up and start propositioning her on the street. She could
not understand it. She was ready to commit suicide.
She explained that she got married hoping that this problem
would go away. But, it didn't. Men were still bothering her. She
could not hide it from her husband, and she said that the only
reason why she had stopped by to see him was because the lights
were on in his meeting place.
She had been spiritually marked. And everywhere she went,
that mark was on her which would say, "I've been hurt! Please come
and hurt me!!!!" She could not get away from it.
Her deliverance came when Evangelist Felts layed hands on
her, cast that demonic spirit out of her, and prayed for healing
for her broken heart.
Felts told several stories about preachers. Stories about women
who are beautiful foxes who come and proposition evangelists ( inc.
himself ), - even if the preacher is so ugly that they look like 'a bag
of nickels crushed their face in'! Then he explained...
"The devil can't get to them with spirits of greed, and
other evil spirits. So, he throws a fox at them. Because he knows
that when two bodies are joined sexually. They become one body,
and one spirit. And, _all_ the demons that had open access to
the one person, now has open access to the other person because
of the unity of their spirits. Its a simple application of
first Corinthians Chapter 6, "Two shall become one".
Anyways... he explained that this is one of the avenues
through which many hearts (spirits) have been broken. And, then
he explained that the healing and deliverance cannot come through
seeing a doctor, or getting a heart transplant; but it can be done
by coming to Dr. Jesus.
He then explained one other method through which hearts
can be broken. He said that for instance, if parents in authority
over their children are continually cursing their kids, then they
can break their hearts.
He said that there was a man whose father kept confessing
over him, "When he hits 18, if you wanna see him, you're have to
go down to the state pen to see him." Well... sure enough... two
days before he hit 18, he ended up in the state pen for life for
armed robbery.
He explained that Elvis continually confessed over his
own life that he would not live a day more than his momma. Well,
he died within three months of having reached the same age. And
he did not live longer than his momma.
After the explanation of ways in which hearts can be
broken, there was a healing line for deliverance and healing of
broken hearts from words that were cursed over folks, and to
break bad bondages. Many people were slain in the Spirit, and
set free.

I just was curious as to whether anything of this nature was actually
set hidden in CHRISTIAN and did a dir/author GRIFFIS and found so much
that it was almost incredulous.
Check out topic 506 for starters... plenty in there. The only notes
that get set hidden are the ones which include personal attack.

You are correct if mentions homosexuality then it would be hidden.
I didn't read your entire note...However, outside of that particular
subject and personal attacks, your notes stand in the conference.
However, Greg, be careful your namecalling is very inappropriate.

Can we PLEASE stop this right now?!
I think it is getting way out of hand. If anyone has anything against
another person in this, or any other, conference, please write to them
personally and get it sorted out privately.
Checking into this conference and reading yet more abuse and slanging
is beginning to really get me down. It's unnecessary, it's pointless
and I feel it should be beneath the dignity of a mature adult.
It's doing neither the participants nor the observers of these exchanges
any good at all.
Feel free to mail me should you take exception to the above comments.

Actually... with the apology in 960.226, and the deletion
of 960.1, I really don't have anything more to say about the mat-
ter... Except of course that I notice that Jim has resurfaced,
( after having left in disgust perhaps because of something that
you said? ), -so you should feel *grateful* and comforted because
your buddy Jim has returned which is, after all, what you had
hoped for, ( -despite the fact that you apparently provoked
him? ).

Jim, Jim, Jim.
Please, don't misjudge me!
I do place value on apologies, - and I am
glad to see that you relented, and came back to C-P
after your previously somewhat unpeaceful, and more
or less disgusted departure. I understand that Sir
Richard seemed to have kind of rubbed you the wrong
way, and it is an unfortunate fact that there are some
folks writing into the noting environment who simply
lack couth, tact, diplomacy and discretion. Yes,
*some* folks simply just don't know when to be quiet.
Some folks do not know when enough is enough.
Sometimes, I have felt abused by strangers. I have
been called all kinds of things... a liar, a false wit-
ness, a false prophet, lunar, dangerous, and probably
worst!! But, do you think that I feel upset about all
these abuses? Nah! Those things do not affect me. My
feelings might have been hurt a little bit, ( boohoo ),
but, I still care about the offending parties. I can see
through my hurt feelings. I understand some need a lift
to their self-esteem, - to be respected, - to be admired,
as unique and beautiful children of God. If their abusing
me helps to promote that, then why should I care?!
I am truly glad to see that you are back noting
in C-P, (these letters could also stand for Cilly-Putty).
I am sure that you have warmed the cockles of Richard's
heart by your sudden reappearance, and, I do hope he
learns to respect you, and truly appreciate you for who
you are, and does not start to make you feel uncomfortable
again. Please let me know if he does, and I will speak
with him about it.

I find it an interesting paradox how the Corinthian Church was rich in
the annointing of the Holy Spirit, yet they were counted as babes in
Christ and spiritually immature. This is important as it brings to
surface the idea that the manifestation of the gifts, though they are
emotional, offer no creedence in our fellowship with God.
As believers, we are commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This
is a daily activity and must always be forefront in our hearts. Then
our hearts won't be so broken.
Re: other matter. An interesting analogy. I have three children.
Gregory is 5, Andrew is 2, and Audrey is 6 months. Like other
children, my young boys will sometimes do the incorrect things to get
attention.
Since we are all adults in this conference, our options aren't as
readily available as with our children. It may be a good idea, if
everybody can restrain themselves, to simply ignore the individual who
is causing a problem, including myself if I cause a problem. Then the
individual will be restored to fellowship when they are man enough to
admit they are acting socially like a child and spiritually like a
child.
