I heard that Einstein said that there were basically two ways of
    looking at life:

    1. That nothing is a miracle.

    2. That everything is a miracle.

Excellent idea. The trick is to stay focused on the idea that
    everything is a miracle.

I have to confess, life sometimes gets me down. Gloom seems all about
and hangs over me like I've got some sort of gloom magnet.

But other times, I relish in it. Life is an incredible experience. And
I intend to ride it out no matter how bad it gets.

Life is a wondrous gift and a holy thing. How marvelous it is just to
be here!

Shalom,
Richard

I too at times get down about life, mostly because of the mess I've
made of various parts of it. Nonetheless, I love life itself and the
joys in it. Yes, there are a lot of things to be worried about right now,
but as in the insecurities note, I relish in the fact that the can take
my job, my car, etc, but they can't take my salvation from me. I begin to
see things in a different light from that point..

One of the real joys in my life occured just this week. I arrived home
from work a bit down and I got out of my car and headed toward my apartment,
when I heard 2 little voices saying "JIM!" and these 2 little girls that
live upstairs came running up to me, arms in the air and gave me a big
hug..kinda made everything else seem inconsequential ;-)
