    Christ came to present the two most important commandments, which are
    (paraphrased), "Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself."
    
    Divine love is what Christ showed when all the men were ready to stone
    the prostitute in their self-righteousness.  The idea that God loves
    and accepts us, no matter what, is what I call Divine love.  Too often,
    people withhold love from other people until they 'sin no more'.  This 
    is conditional love.  But Christ showed Divine love, and showed that 
    first we love and accept the person as they are, and as a result of that, 
    the Divine love will transform.

    Was Jesus showing devine love to the pharisees when he told them their
    place was where there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth?  (see
    Matthew's Gospel)

    Can you elaborate a bit on that?  I'm not at all familiar with
    that story, and unfortunately don't have time to look it up.

    Jesus spoke more on hell than on heaven.  Now is that divine love?

    .7  I'll challenge you on that, Ron.  On what topic did Jesus most
    frequently speak (according to the Gospels)?
    
    According to what I have read, the number one topic of Jesus was
    the Kingdom of God.  Now you might believe that the Kingdom of God
    and Heaven are not synonymous or interchangeable, but they are.
    
    Care to guess what the second most talked about topic for Jesus was?

    I guess the point .5 & .7 are trying to make is that God has a mean
    streak and you'd better not be lulled into thinking of Jesus in terms
    of Divine Love.
    
    This is a bandwagon many conservative Christians enjoy jumping on.
    On the back on the wagon there's a bumpersticker which reads:  "Get
    Right or Get Left!"

    accurately account for others.

    Forgiveness is not the issue Richard.  I have no animosity nor carry a
    grudge against you, I simply don't like your noting style.  It is
    offensive to me.  I'm trying very hard to participate with heart of
    care after the recent struggle for understanding in here and then you
    come up with this stuff... it makes it difficult for me.

    I believe my question was, "What other ways did Christ show his Divine
    Love?"  Also, what is the source of Divine Love?
