Let's take one at the time:
1>> What is the soul?
Definition according Scriptures in the original tongues:
--------------------------------------------------------
According BHS (Biblia Hebraica Stutgartensia):
Soul = NEFESJ
According Textus Receptus (Stephanus 1550):
Soul = Psuhe
Both carry the meaning of : Breathing,
Breathing like all living creature here on earth does.
That's why Sciptures is trying to tell us in Proverb Chapter 10,
The place where the animals go when they die there is also the
place where WE (human beings) go when we die.
2>> Where is the soul?
Right there in everyone's body when he's still alive.
So far,
Alex.

Correction on re: <<< Note 842.1 by JGO::ODOR >>>
-< Some food for further thinking. >-
1>> What is the soul?
Proverb Chapter 10 was not the right one,
It must be Ecclesiastes Chapter 3, especially Eccl 3:19-21
where KJV (1829) take the word Breath while NWT uses the word
Spirit.
2>> Where is the soul?
Addendum:
=========
Parafrase of Gen 2:17 ; When Adam were created ,he became a
living soul.
Parafrase of Ezec 18:4 ; Every soul belongs to God,.......,
The soul who commit a sin ,that soul
will surely die.
Taking above Chapters of Scriptures in account, we will end up
that there is certainly no live after dead ,the way most
religions asumes.
