I embarassed Mike last Sunday by drawing attention to his attire.
    Fun, isn't it? ;-)

    Peace,

Enjoyed meeting the C-P noters who attended Mike's dinner on Friday
night as well as meeting Mike. It was nice breaking bread with Dave
Meyer, Bob Messenger, and as always with Carole and Karen. Only had
a few moments with Bonnie and didn't get a chance to meet E. Grace.
    Perhaps another time.

Yes the dinner at Mayling's was a lot of fun! It was nice to meet
in person some new (E Grace, Jody Bobbit) and "vintage" (Bonnie Reinke,
Bob Messenger, Dave Meyer) C-P noters for the first time that night.

Our table especially had fun with our fortune cookies. Bob Messenger
had one that read "You are not selfish with your device or friendship",
or maybe I've got a word mixed up in there somewhere...:-). I opened
one that said "Give a kiss to the person next to you". On my left was
Carole, on my right, Dave Meyer (who was busy talking to Bob). I let
Carole read my fortune and asked if she'd like to be the person to get
a kiss - and she and Ro just laughed...and laughed. So I turned to Dave
and told him that rather than reading my fortune to him, I'd just do it
to him... (I'll never forget that look on his face :-)). And to his
surprise, I leaned over and planted a big kiss on his cheek...

Later on we all parted and went our own ways, most of us going home,
except for Dave who works second shift...he returned to work from his
looong lunch break with the imprint of a woman's lips upon the apple of
    his cheek. :-) :-)

Loved meeting you and having dinner together Dave, Bob, Carole & Ro!

It WAS an enjoyable evening. Good folks, good conversation, good
food, even if it was followed by a night in the mines. ;-) It was great
seeing Jody, Bonnie and Mike again and at least as great meeting Ro,
Carol, Karen and Bob (from my left to my right as seated) over a feast.
Some were a little surprised that I did not wear horns but Mike did
notice my new pointy goatee - hmmm, what does THAT resemble.;-)>
Yes, I was a little surprised by Karen's request, and more so by
the action that followed. And a little disappointed by her motivation.
    Sigh.

    Mr Meyer,

There's something you should know. It takes a lot more than a cookie
to movitate me to kiss a man I just 'met'.

    Karen ;-)

    E Grace,
I'm sorry ! Someone pointed out this really attractive red head
who came in with MikeV and said it was you - I guess it was her who was
    doing the blushing.

Yes, it was nice meeting some of the people I know from C-P. I don't know
if this counts as the first C-P party, though, since it was piggy backed onto
the =wn= party. Maybe we can have a real C-P party sometime; there are
still many of you that I haven't met.

I'll have to speak more carefully the next time I read a fortune cookie. :-)

I enjoyed meeting Dave, Bob, Bonnie, E Grace and a few others from
=wn=. I cheated and met Mike V. the night before! As always, it
was good to spend some time with Ro and Kb.

Yes Bob, let's have a C-P party sometime soon!
