RELIGION CONFERENCE
INTRODUCTION:
The Religion Conference has been established to offer an environment
for sharing one's religious beliefs and moral ideologies. The goal of
this forum is to generate a medium where people of divers religious
backgrounds can participate and exchange their beliefs and views in a
spirit of sharing. The purpose of this conference is by no means to
convert any individual into a specific moral philosophy; nor is it,
to offend or ridicule the unfamiliar ideologies.
Our cherished hope is that, through loving, courteous and selfless
contribution and participation in this forum, we can all find a joyful
beauty in our collective differences, instead of disagreement and
hatred.
POLICIES:
1. People from different countries may read this conference. Therefore
please be careful with terms / acronyms used, since they may have
completely different meaning in another part of the world.
2. The underlying purpose of religion conference is to bring people
together and not to separate them. Please do not use offensive
language to make your point. Many people of great many backgrounds
read this conference; an improper comment / language or manner of
presentation might deprive us from hearing the opinions of an
individual who is offended by a comment.
3. All criticism must be presented with a positive language and in a
constructive manner.
4. Please quote your sources.
5. Please be descriptive. Some terminologies might be unfamiliar to others,
it will be helpful to present the meaning of the unfamiliar terms in
brackets next to it.
6. Please do not repeat your points excessively.
7. Please use DEC SPELL before submitting a note.
8. If a given note does not pertain to religion, it will be deleted from
this conference.
9. Chapter 3 of the VAX Notes User/Reference Manual must be read.

I have been informed that today is my last day of "official" work
and that as of Friday, December 14th, I will be terminated unless
I find another job at Digital before that time. This is part of a
20% "down-sizing" in the U.S. "field" organization, of which my
group is a part.
Therefore, THIS CONFERENCE NEEDS A NEW HOME. While it's possible
that it will continue to function on CNOTES indefinitely, it's not
safe to make that assumption.
Contact me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you can host this conference.
We must act QUICKLY to assure uninterrupted service.
Cordially,
Tom

looking for the notes file golf::christian or any other notes
conference for bible-believing Christians. I've added gold::christian
but get an error message saying remote node unknown. Pointers would be
very much appreciated.!
Thanks,

| It's moved to YUKON::CHRISTIAN. There is a node GOLF, where the file
used to be. There is no node GOLD as far as I can tell.
There is also a conference for Christian music at ATLANA::CCM.

Alfred
