Here is some info from the latest issue
of the DVC Vacation CLub News:

You may have noticed the construction "down the street"
from Disney's Old Key West Resort. It called Disney's
West Side.

Disney's West Side, Disney Village Marketplace, and
Pleasure Island are all part of the entertainment-
shopping-dining district newly named Downtown Disney.

At Disney's West Side soon you will find:

House of Blues - a 2,000 person capacity restauarant/music
	venue combining a music hall with live music. Fall 1997

Wolfgang Puck Cafe - Innovative California cuisine in a casual
	setting. Fall 1997

Bongos Cuban Cafe - a Cuban cafe/nightclub will bring sizzle of Miami's
	SOuth Beach. Fall 1997

14 more screens at the AMC Theatre. Summer 1997

Virgin Megastore - state of the art  music, video,book showplace
	will feature 300 CD listening stations ans elevated exterior
	stage for live performances. Fall 1997

Cirque du Soleil - A cast of 70 plus international performers
	will bring the magic  of Cirque du Soleil to a 70,000
	sqaure foot, 1650 seat therater. Dec 1998.

Changes for the Disney Village Market Place:
	tranform Goofy's Grill into a 4000 square foot dream-come-true for sweets
	lovers: an old fashioned Ghiradelli's Chocolate SHop and Soda Fountain.
	A Lego imagination center - a 4400 sq foot free-standing retail store
	and Lego model exhibition and a 3000 sq foot play area.

	According to several cast members I talked to, Bongos Cuban Cafe will be a Gloria Estefan establishment. I can't wait for all these places to open - and Mike can't wait for the Legos to open! He kept trying to see over the walls. Susan
