I have reserved a room at Disney's Vero Beach Resort for late June. I'm looking for any suggestions on activities from someone that might have been here already. I have a garden view room. With the MKC passport, the room was marked down from $160 to $132. Is anything at Disney "cheap"? I'm making an assumption here that this resort will be more child oriented than adult, as most of the other Florida resorts (Golf, Tennis and Spas -- but all with LOW season rates).

After reading several detailed trip reports on the web, I have canceled my stay at the Disney Vero Beach resort. Small rooms, high prices, and a so-so report on the recreation available made me changes back to my original plans: HOT and sunny Pheonix AZ. The Hilton resort features 7 pools, a water park with lazy river, standard room is a two-room suite, they have golf, horseback riding, tennis, a European SPA and a great kid's camp. Maybe someone else can post a report here if they visit the DVBR. | |||||

> Maybe someone else can post a report here if they visit the DVBR. We're planning a two day stay at the end of our trip in October. I'll be sure to include info on it in my trip report. We'll be in a Oceanview Studio (as opposed to one of the Deluxe Inn rooms); we were thinking about the 1 bedroom but didn't figure it was worth it for just 2 days. --Scott |
