We're planning on May 1998. It will be the fourth trip for me,third for
my wife,and 2nd trip for the three girls. WE all went in May 1996 and
found it to be a good time of year - nice weather,reasonable crowds.
Stayed off campus at Holiday Inn which was okay,but this time we're
staying inside Disney. Right now it looks like the Caribbean
Beach Resort. Looked into the Polynesian but it was a bit much ($$$$)
for my wallet and the CBR is much more reasonable.
We're also taking along my mother,who hasn't been since 1978,my first
trip to WDW.

I've got my reservation at PO with a deposit already put down.
Think its too early to make dinner reservations? ;^}
So far its me (Bert), my wife Debbie, and son Brian (who'll be 2 years
old by then).
We are working on convincing Brians grandparents to go too.
I know your all going 'eegad, he's going over Memorial Day weekend!'.
We planned it that way on purpose. We haven't seen fireworks at the
Magic Kingdom or MGM in ages because we always go off season. Plus
we should be assured that all rides will be open and AK will be open
in whatever state its in at the point for the summer crowds.

I suppose this is what happens with you join the DVC - we've not even completed our first trip (which is still 157 days away), and we're already planning a short 1 week trip for the end of April '98 (the kids will be off-track - I love year-round schools). --Scott | |||||
