I pulled some disney ICONs off the Disney area on AOL. There doesn't
seem to be any restrictions on them. ICONS such as BAMBI, THUMPER,
MK, GENI, etc.
can be found at NPSS::TERM_SRV$DSK:[PUBLIC]disney.il

I have a copy of the Aladden demo. It has tunes such as Whole new
world, Make way. on a 16bit sound blaster they sound great.
This is not a normal cheap game, it does have a Disney touch.
Warning, it could make you want to go out and buy the Aladden CD.
But, I think that's what they plan. I have seen this demo on AOL, and
listed elsewhere, but it is unclear if it can be posted here.
Instalation of the demo may not be for the faint of heart nor PC
novice.
I will point to the demo if you send mail.

You need to have an account on a VMS or UNIX System, and then have PC access
to that account via PATHWORKS or a dialup session with KERMIT file transfer.
First, to get the file:
VMS: $ COPY NPSS::TERM_SRV$DSK:[PUBLIC]disney.il disney.il
UNIX: $ dcp -i NPSS::TERM_SRV$DSK:[PUBLIC]disney.il disney.il
Then, access your account from the PC using a PATHWORKS file service
(copy the file from the network drive)
or dialup (if it's a home PC) a terminal window with something that supports
KERMIT file transfer (like KEA!) and transfer the file using a binary mode
file transfer. This also assumes your VMS or UNIX account has kermit
available.
Warning: I got the file myself, and couldn't get any of my icon utilities
to recognize the file, so I couldn't use the icons.
Perhaps we could get Ed Badger to explain what utility(ies) he used with
that disney.il file.

| Bill, I used Norton Desktop to select a new icon from within
disney.il. lots of nice icons within the package.
I just tried it here at work. copy file into your area [c:\?]
then clock on the icon you want to change, then up in the file menu,
choose change icon. Then it offers you a choose, click on disney.il
and at the botton, it'll offer a whole bunch of icons to choose from.
btw, Bill, that other file that you asked for is in that area. take a
look at the .zips in there and you'll know what I mean.
