| I would recommend the suite. When my brother and sister-in-law and
three kids went last February school vacation they did a suite. It
was a Howard Johnson's that was near Disney Village but not part of
Disney Village. The suite ran them about $90 a night. They thought
the suite was great since at night they could put the kids to sleep
the other room at a decent time. They could then stay up later
without disturbing them. They also had a refrigerator to store snacks
some breakfast foods. They felt the extra cost for the additional
space made the stay much more enjoyable. They were not constantly
on top of one another.

We went the suite route with 2 kids and 2 adults. Advantages to the
suite were already mentioned. I see breakfast is included in your
package so you don't have to worry about 'going to breakfast' every
day. This was one of the big selling points of a suite arrangement for
us ... the ability to get up and go into the kitchen and pour the kids
some cereal, make some toast and coffee and be out the door in about 20
minutes. Had we gone to restaurants for breakfast it would have taken
much longer and cost a lot more.
I also like being 'off property' although a lot of other people think
that 'on property' is the only way to go. Both trips we've planned were
for more than a week. I like to spend a day at The World, and then a
day at the resort ... just hangin' out by the pool and doing nothing.
Then back to the World. It breaks things up and makes mom and dad feel
like they got a bit of a rest.

| I have stayed at the Residence Inn and found it to be very nice. You do know
what a continental breakfast is right. Well the hotel is on international drive
which is where most people (tourist) stay and there are a lot of resturants
there.

Rick,
I'd say go out to breakfast, but I like that on my
vacations... you need to determine if the saving of $30 a day
is worth cost of breakfast, etc.
Actually, I'd see if there are any timeshares you could rent
for the week. If you could get one for $700 a week or so, it
would be just as good or better than a motel suite.

| I vote for the suite.
I have travelled a LOT with my 3 year old. I ALWAYS stay in a suite.
When she needs a nap, or I need privacy...there's always the extra
room. Suites usually have a double/queen fold out sofa bed and one or
two beds in the bedroom. I usually get a room with 2 queens or doubles
and the sofa bed. I have only once gotten a room with a king and sofa
bed.
If you get the suite, the kids can share a bed, and "mom" can have the
sofa bed.....

| I have a home right outside the Disney Main Gate which I rent if you
are interested. It is 3 Bedroom/ 2 Bath, Family Room, Living/Dining
Room, Full Kitchen fully appointed with Bar area and Kitchen Table, a
Screened-In Pool with Heater and Privacy Fence, Patio Furniture. It
was the builders model home and was decorated very upscale because of
it. We've added 3 TV's and 3 VCR's and a few other things. In April I
can rent it to Digital folks direct for $650 since I don't have to pay
a commission. My property manager will provide discount tickets for
all area attractions as well.
I can be reached at 404-844-8628, or DTN 343-5042.
We bought this house after staying in a number of area Timeshares.
We found it better to have a pool that you could see completely while
you were in the family room or kitchen. (My kids don't ever seem to
tire of swimming!!)

| My wife and I and two small children (ages 2 and 4) rented the home
mentioned in .7 in April. It was fanatastic! A beautiful home kept
spotless only about 15 minutes to Disney. We have in the past rented
Suites and had planned on going that route again until reading this
notes file. There is no comparison to having your own home especially
with the screened-in Pool. We were able to go to Disney in the AM,
return to the house for lunch, a swim, and a nap, and then return in
the afternoon to the Parks. We were able to enjoy shorter lines and
have our privacy when we needed. We can't wait until next year!!
Dave
P.S. The Robinson's couldn't have been nicer! They even took the time
to call us on our first night to welcome us.
