388.4 | I may be picky, but DL's on MY coast! | SWAM1::STERN_TO | Tom Stern -- Have TK, will travel! | Fri Feb 04 1994 15:33 | 9 |
| Moderator,
Considering the fact the three of the first 4 messages list their
locations as being Florida, maybe we should change the base title to
"Sign in 1994 Disneyland (California) Vistors"?
Please feel free to delete this entry (or have me do it).

Hey Tom...I modifed the subject since I wrote the first note...but it
will be up to the mod to move the last three notes to the right place
and clean up our two.
I AM going to DL, California in may...although we have decided not
to do anything else in LA since it was mostly in the northern part.

388.7 | A local goes to Dland | IVOSS1::GREEN_RI | KC6NWH | Wed May 11 1994 16:53 | 15 |
|
Who: Myself (Rick), my wife (Laura) and her entire department from work
(Accounting Operations) and spouses.
When: May 20
How: A 15 mile drive up Harbor Bvld.
Why: Dave, my wife's boss, is being transferred to Portland, OR.
Shutting the department down for a day and taking him to Disneyland is
his going away party. Since we're in the "in crowd" (So. Cal.
Residents) we get in for $21 w/ MKC, which makes it relativly cheap.
This plan is still sitting on Dave's (soon to be former) boss' desk, so
it may or may not fly.

388.8 | | POWDML::BUCKLEY | why do we have to fall from grace? | Fri Oct 07 1994 16:21 | 17 |
| Who: Myself, and my roommate, another ACE member
When: Sunday, June 5th
Why: The American Coaster Enthusiasts were holding their annual
convention in the state of California this year. We hit Mission
Beach in San Diego, S.F. Magic Mountain in Valencia, the Boardwalk
at Santa Cruz, and Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara. We had
a free day between SD and LA, so we hit Anaheim and did Disney in
the morning and Knotts Berry Farm in the late afternoon/evening.
One may say "only 6 hours at Disneyland?" Believe me, any more
time spent with all of those kids would have sent me to the funny
farm! Besides, their rides are more nostalgic than anything.
