Seriously, I heard the story too, and the latest was that the woman ran into
some woods and the authorities had surrounded the area. Apparently she didn't
know either man and no one knew at the time why she would do something like this.

Sorry about the try before!!
I am due in Orlando on the 9th September and I must admit I am a little
concerned regarding your information! Is this a regular event??
This is my first trip back since 1984, can anyone suggest where the
best place is to start ie disney, sea world etc?

| By no means are events like the "regular" at WDW. That's why they do
hit the national press so fast. When did you ever see news about
knifings at Six Flags/Great Adventure? I know personally that they are
regular events at that park, that's why I don't go there even though I
live within 1 hour of the place.
Relax, enjoy. WDW is safe, just use common sense.

Any word on this "situation"? I haven't seen or heard anything
since the USA Today "blurb". Did they find the women, any motive?

| talked to my mother and father about this(they live in the general
area). According to their local paper and TV news only one male was
injured. Was slashed in the neck, but not too serious, was treated and
released. WDW security officials quickly apprehended her. The TV news
story reported that witnesses heard her yell something out about "you
shouldn't be looking at me like that" and then slashed out at him.
Maybe it was Loni Anderson getting back at Burt Reynolds (;-)
I've got last Sunday's Orlando Sentinal at home... I subscribe... WDW
always has job postings.... I'll check to see if I can find the
article.

| I was down there the day this happened. According to the news there
some woman was upset for some man looking at her and stabbed him.
Another guy stepped in to help and he was stabbed also. No major
life threatening injuries. They never did find the woman and after
a couple days the story died down.
