171.0. "Orlando radio stations" by IOENG::FEELEY (Growing older but not up...) Mon Feb 26 1990 14:42

Whenever I travel, I have a difficult time finding a good radio station
to listen to. So, I thought it might be helpful to have a note about
    Orlando-area radio stations.

I like to listen to the oldies (50s and 60s) and there is a really good
station in Orlando. Not too much talk and plenty of good music. It is
WOCL, Cool 105, at 105.9 on your FM dial.

I liked WWLV. No loud rock, few commercials and lots of music to drive
by. They play four or five pieces in a row and *then* talk. That earns
my vote, too.

Sort of Classic Rock/some top 40 Rock, 96.5 FM

Lots of ads for niteclubs in Orlando and Daytona beach.

In 1990, we found an Orlando radio station that the kids loved. It was
called the Imagination Station, and did 100% kids programming. On our
last trip, we could not find the station. Anyone know if it
is still around, and if so, what frequency?
