    	Has anyone been at DisneyLAND on New Year's Eve?

    	How are the crowds?

    	Are there events worth seeing? worth avoiding?

152.1BRILLIANT NEW YEAR..PEKING::TRAFFORDDWed Jan 03 1990 11:5527
    Bill,

    I know this answer is a bit late now but I have only just
    started reading this conference. I will go and introduce
    myself later.

    I have been to Disney WORLD on New Year's eve about 4 years
    ago and it was..Fantastic!!

    There were alot of people there at the time, but nothing
    worth worrying about. The whole atmosphere in the Magic
    Kingdom was really great.

    The best bit I remember was at around 11:30 pm there was
    a show on the stage in front of Cinderella's castle. All
    the Walt Disney characters were there, singing and dancing etc.
    Then at midnight all the lights in the Park went off and there
    were loads of brilliant fireworks going off behind the Castle.
    Then everyone was singing and kissing each other Happy New Year.

    I could go on for ages, but I don't want to babble on too much!!

    All I can say is I would love to go there for New Year again.

152.2EPCOT IS THE ONECSSE::GWHITESun Feb 18 1990 17:064
    I have been at DISNEY WORLD for four New Year's Eves, including this
    past one. The laser/light/fireworks show at EPCOT is the attraction to
    catch. There is no comparison if you are a fireworks freak.
