| Has anyone else caught the Chey Lumina car adds? It stars Mickey and
Minnie along with some other Disney Characters in front of the Chinese
Theather in the soon to open Studio tour. I guess GM is now the
official Car Company of WDW.

| I haven't seen this on US TV yet, but while scanning the channels last
night, I caught what appeared to be a Pampers add, that stared the
Disney Babies (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, etc.) on the French Station (CSKH
out of Montreal?, this is United Cable out of Manchester NH). The
Disney Babies are playing with the Human Babies until Mom steps in, Mom
picks up an animated hat and has a dumfounded look to her, and the baby
has a cute little smile on her face. I didn't see the whole comercial
so I'm not sure if it's pampers or some other make, but it has the
Disney Characters along the wasteband.
My French is rusty, but it did sound like a cute little ad.

having a gaint commercial before, during and after the attraction.

Ed,
Actually Epcot is not the first Disney park to do this, Not sure who
the various sponsors for Disneyland are but for the MK at WDW
GE/RCA for Space Mountain
Delta for Dreamflight
Black & Decker for Circle-Vision
Florida Citrus Growers for Tropical Serenade (Tiki Birds)
Various Food Co.'s for the various snack bars in the MK (Dole for the
famous Dole-Whip)
Assorted Co.'s for the various Gifts shops in the MK
Disney has been doing this type of thing for years,
Eastern was the Official Airline of WDW and PSA for Disneyland
now Delta as the Offical Airline of WDW/Disneyland
National as the Official Car Rental of WDW
Howard Johnson as the Offical Hotel for the MKC

This is not quite on topic in some ways, but very on topic in other
ways. When I was at Disney/MGM Studios in August I was shocked to see a
whole shop donated to Warner Bros. cartoon items (posters, hats,
stuffed animals, etc.). I think the shop was "The Looney Bin" or
something like that. It's one thing for Disney to have corporate
sponsers, but WHY ARE THEY PROMOTING A COMPETING PRODUCT IN WDW?

Could this have anything to do with the fact that WB characters were
featured in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? like the Daffy/Donald Duck
dueling piano sequence, I just love replaying this when viewing WFRR at
home.
Actually I would of thought some of the MGM cartoons characters like
Tom and Jerry etc. would be featured though.

| If you think the Chevy Lumina ads are bad...
When I made reservations for my vacation (10/30-11/5, trip report
is coming soon!), I received a Chevy Lumina advertisement with
the vacation guide they sent me. To make matters worse, I had
made reservations at two hotels so I got two copies. And to
make matters much worse, they have an actual Chevy Lumina sitting
at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom (by the Mickey Mouse flower
arrangement so you can't miss it!)
As for the Pampers ads, I've seen them but hadn't seen the diapers.
I think they sell Disney Pampers within WDW though -- they used to
sell huggies.
