We have tried to move the mail both to a folder in "Personal
Folders" and to a folder in the Mailbox with the same result: the
move operation hangs.
> o What version of Exchange are they using?
>
We use version 4.0 with service pack 3 for both the Exchange Server
and the Exchange Client.

Yes we can.

89.11 | Need some additional info | MANANA::BETHD::doucette | | Thu Mar 20 1997 14:08 | 28 |
|
So far I'm unable to reproduce the problem, so I'll need to get
some additional information from the customer.
- Which version of NT are you using?
- Do you still see the problem with a 200K Word attachment as
well as with a large recipient list?
- What is the size of the message that contains the large
recipient list?
- Is the local folder on the user's PC or on another network PC?
- Does the user have enough disk space in the local folder
to receive the message?
- How long does the user wait for the operation to complete?
- What steps does the user take to copy/move the message?
Copying/moving messages can be done in several ways.
Drag and Drop, File Copy menu from an open message,
File Copy menu with message selected in directory
window, ...
Thanks for your help resolving this problem.
