| I do not believe in general cruise lines will book much more than a
year ahead. Anything more than 2 years out is a crap shoot to believe
they even know what ships will be sailing where at what time.
There will probably be all sorts of things available then and
considering the enormous cruise line capacity now not counting the
many new ships being built I am sure you will have tons to choose
from. I would not think about it till about 1 year ahead if you
want the best selection etc.

| I got worried when I read that certain accomodations in Disney World are already
booked up for that timeframe. It seems alot of people are planning ahead for a
once in a lifetime New Year celebration. However, I did have concerns about
booking so far in advance for some of the reasons you pointed out.
Thanks Harold!

| This note made me question "How soon should you book a cruise??"" We
would like to take a cruise from Boston to Bermuda the end of May -
beginning of June timeframe, but we haven't booked it yet... Is it too
late??

| It shouldn't be too late, Carla. We booked our cruise to Bermuda this past
May about 6 weeks before we left. To get a selection on rooms, the earlier
the better. Don't wait any longer!
Are you taking the Royal Majesty? We were going to take that one but went
with RCCL's Song of America instead. They leave out of New York and provide
free bus from many points in N.E. A veteran cruises told me I wouldn't be happy
on Royal Majesty because they dock in St. Georges all week. Not much goes on
there. SOA stays in St. Georeges for a couple of days and then docks right
along Front St. in Hamilton the rest of the time. Just something to consider.

| Thanks... right now we are trying to determine what is the best, while
at the same time the cheapest... I have heard that RCCL's Song of
America out of New York, IS the best... BUT, is it worth the 4 hour
drive to New York vs. 1 hour drive to Boston??
