I am hoping to do a Mediterrean cruise as our next cruise. I want to
see Venice, a lot of Greece, and do a side-trip to Egypt. Can anybody
recommend a good cruise line, and also make a suggestion of the best
time of the year to go?

I did a Mediterranean cruise in October '93 - a great time of year,
since it was pleasantly warm, but not sweltering. You might want to
consider Costa for this itinerary; check out my trip report in 417.1.

Princess does a wonderful run over there. I have been on Princess to
Europe 4 times and had a wonderful time. I went in July/Aug and it
was real warm over there. I did Greece, Italy etc. and had a great
time.
