    OK, OK.  I know.  This is probably not everyone else's idea of why a
    cruise might be exciting.  However, for those of you who are quilters,
    sewers, fabric manipulators or just plain fabric lovers, at least I
    know that you will understand   ;-).
    
    In my Carnival brochure, it says that Batik is available on St.
    Maarten.  Has anyone who has been there noticed if the fabric is
    available as yardage or is it only available already made up into
    clothing, etc.?  I would love to be able to buy about 20 yards of
    fabric as I can't find any here in the wild wild west of Colorado that
    is really wonderful.  If they have it, is it rayon or cotton - can you
    watch them make it - do they have colors besides black for the
    background?
