| Mike,
I have cruised once on NCL on a 7 day carribean cruise from Puerto
Rico and paid $1145/person, this was on the STARWARD. I am now booked
on the Dreamward in DEC. at $1099/person. This new ship travels
from FT. Lauderdale to Grand Cayman, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel,
Cancun, then to NCLs private island. I would recommend you shop
around for prices after you get the info from Mass Buying Power,
they may or may not be the cheapest. Last time I booked through
a local agent here in Colorado Springs, but this time I booked
through Cruise Doctors in NH. They were very nice and provided
me with the best rate, and I called at least 10 agencies. If you
call them ask to speak to Wanda Bogin (800-682-0135), she was very
helpful. If you call her say hi for me. Regardless of whatever
price you get from Mass Buying Power, be sure to shop around. Please
post any information you get from them, I'd be curious to know.
Happy Hunting,
Mark Lowenberg

I was curious if you got some comparisons. As far as what is a good
deal is, there are so many variables even for a specific cruise line.
Each ship, date of sailing, city flying from, of course cabin etc.
Comparisons are not valid unless done at same time and for identical same
product. Make sure port charges are known. Just 1 weeks difference in
schedule with no apparent difference can create a good size cost
difference. And the comparison should be done on same date if possible.
It can often be like going to a warehouse store like BJs, SAMs, COSTCO
etc. Some things are really good bargains, but I've seen many times
where the large quantity item they are selling is more expensive than
the small convenient size at the local grocery store.
Like the previous note said, make sure you compare. It seems a lot
of people have had good success with Cruise Docktors of NH.
