443.1 | Extended to May 20 -- 2 cabins left | DTIF::SURTEES | Bob Surtees | Fri May 14 1993 10:13 | 14 |
| RCCL has extended the deadline until May 20. If you are interested in this
11-night cruise to the southern Carribean aboard the Song of America, please
contact myself or my wife at Suburban Travel. There are only two cabins left.
There is a slight error in the original note in that the air transportation will
not be available from Manchester because the number of connections to San Juan
would be greater than the limit imposed by RCCL.
Something else I forgot to mention was that you can upgrade to a higher deck for
$15/person/deck for the full cruise.
Those who have booked should have already received confirmation.

443.2 | A few more cabins still available | DTIF::SURTEES | Bob Surtees | Thu Jun 17 1993 15:09 | 9 |
| Due to the great discount on this cruise, the agency went ahead and booked some
extra cabins to allow other late comers to take advantage of it. I believe there
are currently 3 cabins still available so if you want to go to the southern
Carribean on RCCL's Song of America for eleven nights at $1350, please let me
know ASAP or contact Margaret Surtees at Suburban Travel (603)424-4673.

443.3 | 2 Cancellations make 2 cabins available | DDIF::SURTEES | Bob Surtees | Tue Aug 24 1993 09:49 | 10 |
| For different reasons there were two cancellations making them available for
others who might like to go to the Carribean on the Song of America for eleven
nights. Both are outside cabins on different decks and will cost $1446 and
$1461 per person respectively. These cabins must be sold within the next 2
days otherwise they will be returned to RCCL. Some ten cabins in this group
are being used by Digital employees.

443.4 | A few cancellations make cabins available | BROKE::SURTEES | Bob Surtees | Wed Nov 03 1993 10:39 | 7 |
| If anyone wants to join us on an eleven-night southern Carribean cruise leaving
Puerto Rico on January 26, please let me know as soon as possible. Due to
illness and other reasons we have had cancellations for four cabins on the RCCL
Song of America which we can fill with other people. We were originally under
the impression that we would not be able to do this because of the size of the
waiting list but RCCL have informed us that we can make substitions at this
time. This has to be done within the next week.

443.7 | Waiting list ? | DECWET::KARMALI | | Wed Nov 10 1993 20:58 | 5 |
| Is this cruise sold out since .4 mentioned a long waiting list ?
Since this is a group booking for the cruise, does the group
have to pay for those that cancel last minute ?

As mentioned in .6 the prices are listed in the main note. There is a slight
difference, due to a change in airport taxes, that will increase those figures
by $3 which is still lower than the cost I mentioned in .2. The current
prices, then, are $1349/person for inside cabin (only 1 of these left,) and
$1449 for outside cabins (only 3 of these left.)
I can also tell you the exact cabin numbers if you are interested.

There seems to be some confusion around all of these various deadlines which I
would like to clear up. The initial deposit was required in May with another
payment due in August. The agency was told, or was led to believe, that after
the names were submitted in August, that those names would be engraved in stone
and that we would not be able to make any changes should someone change their
mind about going. The reason for this, we were told, was that there was a
large waiting list of other people who would replace any cancellations.
Several days ago, my wife talked to someone at RCCL and was informed that we
can make changes (something to do with the type of group we have) up until the
final payment is sent in which will happen in a couple of weeks.
Since we have had some cancellations due to illness there is 1 inside cabin and
3 outside cabins available for reallocation. I can get the exact cabin numbers
if anyone is interested, but full payment is due sometime within the next
couple of weeks and, because it is a group rate, RCCL will not accept credit
cards. We have also placed an ad in the local newspaper so they will probably
be taken up fairly quickly. The group is not charged for cancellations.
