Hope it is ok to post this here.... Does anyone in this file have a listing of cruise ship operators with their mail addresses? Both US and non-US please! A good friend of mine is fed up with working here in Scotland and wants to give working on a ship a shot. Just as a general reply, unless your friend has some talent such as entertaining etc., then the type of work cruises offer is extremely long hours with low pay. He will be inside working so much, so long that it will not matter how nice the weather is outside. Chances are pretty good he will not last long. General help on ships work on average 14 to 16 hours a day, with a few hours off during day a couple of times a week. Harold C. |
