| I have not been on the Ecstasy, but during our last cruise in Nov 91
we had a travel agent sitting at our table who had been on the
Ecstasy during the summer of 91 with her older kids. She cruises a lot
and had taken 4 or 5 cruises or more (I cannot remember) on Carnival
itself. She said the Ecstasy had the best food and service of the
Carnival ships she had been on. It is a large new ship which gives
you more variety etc. Should be fun. I believe there are a few notes
and/or replies around which mention the Ecstasy, they obviously would
be newer notes.

| I was on the Ecstasy during the first week of April. We went on the
Western route, and had a fantastic time. Previously, we had gone on
the Festivale, and EVERYTHING (except the waiter) was even better on
the Ecstasy.
If you have any specific questions, please send me mail. BTW - friends
of mine went on the Eastern route, and found the ship to be great.
Island wise, they wished they had opted for the Western Caribbean.

That would really be great. I bet you can't wait! I wish I was going sooner,
but at least it will give me something to look forward to through the winter!

I will let you know what i think about it we are taking the Eastern
route also with someone on this note file write MELANSON!!!!!.

Hi Nancy,
I went on the Ecstasy in November we were to go on the eastern
caribbean,but went on the western caribbean they change all of
November to the western.If you would like to know how my trip
was and would like to give me a call at DTN 271-7300 you can.
I had the time of my life and the best vac.I ever had. If I
were to try to say everthing about the trip in notes I could
go on and on and I just got back from vacation this week and
have a lot to do.

| Hi all, sorry it took soo long to respond but I have been very busy
trying to catch up.
About the trip, we all had a great time and can't wait to go again...
I will not get into the detailes of the trip as it would be like
writting a book and I simply don't have the time... So anyways,
here are some general comments about the trip...
The weather was excellent
The food was excellent
The service was excellent (THEY JUST KEEP TRYING TO PLEASE YOU!!!)
The cabin was excellent
The beach we went to was excellent
The bargains we found in Jamaica were fantastic
The facilities on the ship were excellent
The scenery was fantastic (TOP FLOOR IN THE AFT OF THE SHIP)
The people were excellent, we made new friends and plan on visiting
them in the near future.
They had great unique shows
The gambling was fun, exspecailly if you were ROGER
Overall, the only thing that got in the way of having more fun
was sleep... There was always something going on and we didn't even
see or use all that the ship had to offer.
I have been on the Princess line once before and had a great time
but the Carnival is more of a party ship and I felt more relaxed
and had alot of fun.
The only bad part of the whole trip was coming home back to reality
and then back to work.

Thanks for the mini report. It sure sounds like the Ecstasy is a great ship!
I can't wait to go!!
If you have any specific details you can enter like the types of events on ship,
shows, and how the age group was on board, 20's, 30's or whatever, that would
be great!
Glad you had a good time.
