Good Afternoon,
I was wondering if any of you have taken the Meridian Ship out of
Boston to Bermuda. If so how was the ship and the trip. My husband
and I are thinking of taking a cruise in September on this ship.
Any info or thoughts would be appreciated.

Joanne,
My wife took a cruise on that ship (about 2 1/2 years ago)
before it was refurbished and renamed the Meridian... she was not
impressed at all. We have since sailed together on the SS Norway
and she said that there was absolutely no comparison. The ship is
not all that big and they ran into rough seas and the trip was VERY
uncomfortable (don't forget... Sept. is still hurricane season!).
She also said that the food wasn't all that great (cold cuts for
midnight buffet!).
They may have changed their act, but I would advise some
serious investigating.

I'm contemplating a trip on the Meridian. It is a week crusie to
Bermuda also ... did you go. Any comments.
Any info would be MUCH appreciated.
