| Ann,
My wife and I took a cruise in the carribean the week starting
the day after Thanksgiving, and the weather was perfect. The
mornings started around 80 degrees and climbed to about 90.
Occasionally there was a brief shower lasting about 5-10 minutes,
it was by no means a down pour. In fact I'm thinking about taking
another cruise starting the weekend after Thanksgiving.

| The hurricane season is roughly from late August until November but
the chances of you actually encountering one are quite small. If one
does come up, you'll be in no danger although it might be a little
rough. Worst thing that would likely happen is that you skip a port
or ports of call. I'd say planning a trip around the liklihood of a
hurricane is about like planning a trip to the mid-west in the summer
around the liklihood of a toronado. Unless you do encounter one, the
weather will be great - its about the same all year around. I'd say
go for it.

| I've taken a cruise just before Thanksgiving and just after.
Weather was fine. My main reason for taken one then was cost,
it is generally hard to sell cruises just before Xmas. We always
got great deals.
Thanksgiving week itself will be the opposite, probably reasonably
large demand.
Since Thanksgiving week has two school days off there will probably
be others with kids on board. If you take a week off which is not
a school vacation week then expect very few kids on board. Probably
the only exception to this is if you go on a Disney Cruise which
will probably have lots of kids any week of the year.
