Does anybody have any ideas where sunny warm weather is for cruising in October? My first choise would be the Caribbean, but October is the rainy/hurricane season. Due to various reason, my vacation dates are unfortuately fixed for October. Is the Mexico sunny in October? What about the Mediterranean or the South Pacific? -Paul

I sailed the Carib. in October, (16th) a couple of years ago. We had one day of rain, and that was in St. Lucia, Otherwise, the rest of the trip was great. This was when NCL, Skyward was doing 10 day cruises, the other 9 were beautiful. It's kind of hard to predict the weather. Last December I sailed to Jamaica,& Mexico. According to everyone I have ever spoken to, including the people in Mexico, it never, ever rains there. Not when I went to Cozumel!!! So you see, it's very hard to say exactly what will happen. But you do have a great time anyway. Doreen | |||||

As it turns out, I have booked the Monarch for an August 2nd. Caribbean cruise. It will probably be either blistering hot, or rainy, but still expect lots of fun.... -Paul |
