Single Occupancy Fare
Passengers requiring single occupancy of a stateroom within a
specific category will be charged 125% of the regular fare for
the selected accommodation.
PLEASE NOTE
The single occupancy bookings are not discounted. The reason we
received a discount with Royal Caribbean for single passenger
bookings last year was due to an error made by their group
travel department in quoting us prices.
So, it would benefit those who planned on booking single occupancy
to find a companion to come along and share a cabin. This would
then give you the double occupancy discounted price.
THIRD/FORTH PERSON $648 $648
Including infants and children sharing stateroom with two
full-fare paying adults.
PLEASE NOTE: All prices are in U.S. funds. Rates are per person based on
double occupancy. See category description and specify
requirements at time of booking.
PORT CHARGES: All cruises, $59 per person, regardless of age.
US DEPARTURE TAX: $3.00 per person
A $250 deposit per person must be made within 7 days of your booking a
cabin. Full payment due to AAA 75 days prior to cruise since we are a
group. Please read information in a Princess 1991 brochure
regarding Cancellations and Refunds or ask the travel agent for details.
So, you'd like to go, what should you do now?
Call AAA Travel in Nashua, New Hampshire (603)891-1070. Ask for Chris.
Identify yourself as a friend of the "Cruise Notes Conference" wanting to go
on the December 14th, 1991 Princess Regal Cruise, mention my name Joe Famularo.
They will take all the information and be more than happy to answer any
questions you may have.
You'll need to give them the following information so you may want to
make a few notes before calling.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY:
CATEGORY:
DINING: (1st or 2nd seating, smoking/nonsmoking, special diets)
SPECIAL OCCASIONS: You may order birthday, anniversary cakes, flowers,
champagne, etc.
SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS: Pre-cruise hotel accommodations. Day before service
(available from all gateway cities) -
a) $119 per person double occupancy, $219 single
Includes two nights at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Marina.
Transportation to the hotel and ship. Also includes a city tour and
Jungle Queen tour.
b) $59 per person double occupancy, $109 single
Includes one night at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport Hilton. Transportation
to the hotel and ship.
Consider taking advantage of one of the above arrangements. Since we'll
be going in December who knows what the weather may hold. If you get
to Ft. Lauderdale a day or two early you've given yourself a buffer against
the possibility of bad weather delaying or canceling your flight. It
also means that on the day of the cruise, all the travel effort
will be behind you and you'll be all rested up to really
enjoy that first night on the ship. If you wish to do this just tell
the travel agent.
If you'd like a copy of the 1991 Princess Caribbean cruise brochure or if
you have any questions AAA will glad to help you or send me electronic mail
at KOALA::FAMULARO anytime or call me at home (603)883-6740 any evening or
weekends. Please do NOT call me at work.
FYI - This cruise is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Digital Equipment
Corporation. We're just a bunch of people, grouping together to get the
benefit of a low price for a great cruise vacation. I do NOT work for
either AAA Travel or Princess Cruise Lines.
REGAL PRINCESS
Her teak is from Burma. Her marble from Carrara. And her fittings were
forged by Italian craftsmen in shipyards over 200 years old. She is a
masterpiece of the sea created by one of the worlds most gifted architects.
In the hands of Renzo Piano, best known for his daring design of Paris'
Pompidou Center, the silhouette of a dolphin evolved into the sleek, rounded
lines of a revolutionary new ship. The crown-like observation lounge became
the focus for cruising's most unique entertainment complex. A million-dollar
art collection was assembled to complement the vessel's dazzling design. And
she was given incomparable spaciousness. In her public rooms. In her
staterooms. An on her wide, open decks. This is the breathtaking Regal
Princess. A ship that redefines elegance and style.
The Pleasure Dome, the center of the action. Coins tickle and spirits soar
with every spin of the roulette wheel. Mingle at the bar. Coffee, cognac,
an after-dinner liqueur. Then follow the music onto the dance floor.
Excitement. Energy. An ebb and flow of movement through the Casino and on
into the observation lounge. Here the rhythm slows and softens. Surrender
to the mood. Light shimmering through an iridescent screen casts a warm,
romantic glow. It finds the two of you, resting head upon shoulder and
gazing thoughtfully out to sea. It all comes together under "The Dome."
Worldly tonight. Red chiffon and black tie in "Chianti." You choose the
Russian caviar with iced vodka. She prefers a glass of her favorite
champagne, perfectly chilled. Tomorrow, a day of sun, sand and sights.
You share it all with friends. In "La Patisserie" the conversation never
falters. Freshly-baked French pastries. Hot coffee laced with Amaretto
and cream. Later, a treasured memento discovered in the gallery of glittering
boutiques. The perfect earrings to set off here new flowered silk. Casual
yet elegant. The Regal Princess is all this and more.
Rejuvenate. Sun-dazzled skies above. Shimmering pools and waterfalls below.
Tanned arms reach for frosted drinks at the in-pool bar. Stewards offer plush
cotton towels. Lounge chairs beckon amidst and expanse of polished teak deck.
Relaxed. Unhurried. Time disappears watching the wake slowly roll past the
stern. You stir from your reverie. Deckside buffet in the coolness of a
casual cafe. Tempting aromas from the authentic pizzeria. Then, a creative
drink in the rollicking "Characters" bar. Sense the cooling colors of the
day. The gentle glories of the night.
Savoir fare. The dinner hour. Casual yet cosmopolitan. An Italian flair.
Attentive waiters set gleaming silver on crisp white linen. Pour French
wine into sparkling glasses. And create tantalizing table-side dishes.
The Fettuccine Alfredo is perfect. Rare Filet Mignon melts in your mouth.
Chocolate Souffle'. Cappuccino. New acquaintances are soon like old friends.
In the show lounge, glittering entertainment from Las Vegas to Broadway.
Later, magic, comedy, and cabaret. In the disco, your own show begins.
Watch. Participate. Exhibit. Out on deck the false dawn tinges the sky.
The first pleasures of the day. Awaken slowly to the unparalleled amenities
of your extra-spacious stateroom. Colorful fabrics of mohair and wool.
Furniture wrought by skilled Italian designers. Carpets custom-made in
Holland and England. And in your stateroom you've elected to enjoy
breakfast for two. Steaming cups of coffee. Butter melting on freshly-
baked croissants. Later, thick towels after a refreshing shower. White
cotton and khaki from the walkin-closet. And a quick review at the dressing
table and mirror. No one accommodates you like the Regal Princess.
The Regal Princess. The shape of things to come.
