HI! I'm getting married in March of 92 and we are looking for a Greece cruise. We've found one or two, but they were between $2000 - $2500 per person not including air fare (which was about another $1000 per person). Please let me know if anyone knows of any specials or cheaper rates and if you have been on one - how did it rate? Thanks a lot, Holly

No, I haven't looked into Sun Lines - are they expensive? One more quick question - if anyone has been on a cruise at Greece - what is the best time of year to go. I have very fair skin and don't want to get burnt to a crisp. Thanks again, Holly
273.3 | Great cruise, especially the fresh cherries | VINO::FLEMMING | No eraser? Its not fault tolerant | Wed Apr 03 1991 12:56 | 13 |
The sun is pretty hot all year round. The temperature gets pretty cool during the fall/summer/spring so most of the cruise lines (if that's really what you are looking for rather than just ferry boats that run between the islands and Greece and Turkey) only cruise in the summertime. In terms of burning, I'd just recommend a good sun screen. As I said, the sun burns year round. It was several years ago when I went on the Stella Solaris (Sun Lines) but the fare then was about $175/day including air fare. We went on a two week cruise which included almost every Greek isle, Istambul, lots of the great ruins in Turkey, Egypt and Israel. Call your travel agent and ask for a Sun Lines Med. cruise brochure.

Thank you very much! I can't wait to see the brochure. I've always dreamed about a Greek cruise. Thanks again, Holly |
