Well.....if nobody replies to your request before February, you
can let me know. We're booked on the Norway in May and I'm curious
about the refurb myself.

Just found this notes conference.... nice timing!
My fiance and I just booked a cruise on the Norway this afternoon. We're
leaving this fall, and were interested in a cabin on the Sky Deck as well.
I too would like some comments on it.
Ed, perhaps you could mail us a brief summary of your experiences when you
return.
Bon Voyage!

246.4 | What to wear?! | SOLVIT::LEONE | | Wed Apr 08 1992 09:40 | 15 |

Hello,
We will be sailing on the Norway in June. I have a question about what
we should wear in the evenings. There are two formal nights, which my
husband will wear a suit, and I have a couple of tea lenght dresses to
wear. What about the informal nights? Is a shirt and tie enough for
my husband, or will he need a jacket too? I was planning on wearing
street-lenght dresses on those nights. Then what about the "theme"
nights? We really don't have any western clothes to wear, or 50/60's.
Can you just go casual on those nights?
Thanks for the info!

246.5 | Go Casual... | TPTRNG::SIMPSON | | Wed Apr 08 1992 10:42 | 18 |

Hi Patty...
On the informal nights, your husband need not wear a
tie. Most everyone will be wearing casual clothes. You will
see some people "dress" for dinner almost every night, but that
is not the norm. A sport shirt and slacks for your husband will
be fine.... a dress or skirt/blouse for you. The only thing they
do not allow in the dining room at dinner is shorts/bathing suits.
As for the theme nights... if you don't have any clothes for that
theme... don't worry about it... dress casual. The atmosphere on
the Norway is laid back and relaxed... they won't force you to do
anything (you're their paying customer... right??)
If I can help with any other questions, either post them
here or send mail.
