244.1 | I'm Having the Same Problem! | FDCV14::WHALEN | | Thu Dec 06 1990 15:50 | 6 |
| I've been getting the same error message. The last time I was
in the conference was a few days ago (maybe Monday?).
Does anyone out there know what the problem is?
Linda

| Thanks Linda,
I thought I was the only one...
I have three tickets to Tampa in January to sell at a great price and
HOLIDAY_TRAVEL is the only place I thought to put a message.
I really need to know where this conference is.

I received the same error Dec 7th , I inquired the vaxnotes_bug file
and they said it was not a notes file bug but a problem with the
comcad system.. He told me to write COMCAD::SYSTEM with the problem,
I wrote them a few days ago but have received no response.
Does anyone know who the moderarator of HOLIDAY_TRAVEL is ?
I will write him/her directly if I have an address...

244.7 | where to find out about conferences | BOOKIE::EPPES | I'm not making this up, you know | Fri Dec 07 1990 17:44 | 12 |
| FYI, the definitive place to look for info on conference locations,
inaccessibility, etc. is the TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES conference. Be sure
to read note 1 and its replies in that conference.
All the announced conferences are listed according to category in note 2 and
its replies in EASYNET_CONFERENCES. The listing of employee interest
conferences begins around note 2.16, I think.
Press KP7 or Select to add TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES to your notebook.
I highly recommend following it. It's pretty easy to keep up with.

| This question was asked in EASYNET_CONFERENCES and the answer given was
the wrong one. I always look there when I can't get into a conference.
Whoever made the change didn't announce it there, at least at first.

Sorry folks, we had four (yes, 4!) hours notice of those disks
being moved from one cluster to another. We're back up now and
I think the service will actually be a little better now since
it is on a bigger VAX.
RE: -1
The archive file is in the same place as this one, see below...

Both files have moved again...They are now in NOTES$LIBRARY on
the NACAD:: node. So, here are the specs:
The active read/write version is at:
NACAD::HOLIDAY_TRAVEL.NOTE
The archived read-ONLY version is at:
NACAD::HOL-TRAV.V1
Use the command:
MOD ENT/FILE=<spec> <name>
to modify your notebook entry.
Have fun,
Craig.
PS. This is the holiday_travel note, please ignore all other
conversations in this file (eg. note 2970)...
