    In November of 1987 my daughter and I took our first cruise on the Sun
    Viking.......I have never had such a wonderful time in my life.....We
    used dramamine in advance and didn't have one minute of serious
    seasickness.  We had some rough weather, but by the time we hit it on 
    the return portion of the trip we just enjoyed sitting in the large
    salon area in the center of the ship watching people trying to
    negotiate walking from side to side as the sea bounced us around a bit.
    Don't remember ever laughing quite so much before or since.  
    
    I loved the Sun Viking......The smallness of it created an intimacy
    with the crew and other passengers that I don't imagine can be
    recreated on the larger ships.  I am only sad I haven't been able to
    afford another cruise since, but am planning on saving really hard and
    doing it again as soon as possible.  My daughter wants to go on the
    Sovereign, and I suppose we will, but the smallness of the Viking
    really appealed to me, and before I go I will have trouble with the
    idea of the larger ships.  I'm sure that after I get back, I will be
    sold on them.......
    
    Wish I could go next year, but at this point there isn't any way it
    will happen.  Maybe in '92.
    
    So, go on the Viking and thoroughly enjoy yourself......
