The NCL line has something called SEASAVER. If you call them 30 days prior to the sailing date they will tell you what ships have cabins open at these rates. Airfare, and land transportation is not included , nor can you be guaranteed a specific cabin category, no selection of dinner seatings either but we got a rate of $699 per person inside cabin $769 per person outside cabin $345 3rd and 4th person we are going on the Norway on Aug 4th. This is the 2nd time on the Norway for us. This is a good deal for a family of 5 who require two cabins. This is a savings of 44% of the cabin category we were assigned and we hope that we might luck out with a free upgrade. I got this rate through my travel agent but called NCL direct and got the same rate quoted, so I let my travel agent do all the work. P.S. Full fare must be payed in a few days but I was able to use my credit card and the travel agent fedex'd the charge receipt to NCL. I'll let you know how this all works out. Len

Could you give a report on how your Aug 4 cruise using SEASAVER went. What class cabin did you get? Did you get what you wanted out of the cruise? etc... Thanks Steve | |||||

It went fine. I got two inside cabins on the Atlantic deck. Nothing great, but I only spent about 6hrs per night there. Because the Norway was booked to capacity there really wasn't much chance of getting a better cabin; however I heard it is possible to luck out with SEA SAVER. I would definitely go for the saving provided I had flexibilty in scheduling etc. |
